Run With Christ, you will always be my second family

All through 2024, I was just a kid with no community trying and failing to truly follow Jesus. I was going to church, serving my community, trying to build a prayer life and get in my Bible, but I was still lost and still too prideful to surrender fully to the Lord. I still got drunk and partied. I still chased after women. I still made myself and my desires priority over God. Then in December of 2024, my life changed forever

I stumbled into Run With Christ on a random Saturday morning simply because I had nothing else to do. And quickly I found the community I had been praying over for so long. This ministry has provided me true brothers and sisters that I will cherish for the rest of my life. To everyone that’s been a part of this with me, I love you forever. Getting to chase after Jesus with you all was so critical in me becoming the man of God I am today. I learned all about what a relationship with God looks like during this time and it’s the greatest gift I’ve ever received

When I stepped in, I didn’t see myself capable of being a leader or doing anything of value. But the Lord was so gracious to me. He called me higher through RWC, taught me how to be a leader, taught me how to deal with my own failures. But most importantly, He taught me the most valuable lesson of living and leading: That I’m incapable of anything without Him and capable of everything with Him. Philippians 4:13

Everything I do, I do because of Jesus Christ. And it’s all made possible because of the greatest act of love this world has ever known: Jesus dying on the cross to cover the debt of our sins so we can host the presence of the living God and have intimate relationship with Him. If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, I implore you to seek Him and obey Him. There is no greater joy, no greater peace, and no greater love than life with Jesus as your Lord and Savior

So blessed that God gave me the opportunity to serve RWC over these last 2 years. Forever thankful for it all and I will miss it with all my heart. Wouldn’t be equipped to step into the next season without it
