All I ever wanted was to let the world know how special Heath and PSF are and make him proud. I didn’t even start jiu jitsu until I was 32. I never did a masters match until I was 37. I was out there in the adult division trying to rep Heath with all I had. I medaled at adult blue at Pans at 34, and never got another medal at a major until I started doing my own division Thank god the boys came along to take that off me, because I would’ve never stopped.

The best part of this day wasn’t winning, it was putting my arms around Heath. I don’t remember what I said, I don’t remember what he said …. But I remember it all. The boys all there yelling. PSF’s first black belt world title. We did shit they can never take away. And now the boys toe the line.

🥋MEMBER OF THE MONTH — VAL! 👑

Val has been putting in the work all year — consistently showing up, training hard and always being one of the toughest rounds in our BJJ classes.

But what really stands out is her willingness to step up and test herself.

Three competitions this year. Three times representing Glove & Crown. 👊

Val gets straight back on the mats ready to work and improve her skillset.

That attitude is exactly what we love to see.

Congratulations Val — our Member of the Month! 👑🥋

Extremely proud of both @valerie_marieeee & #slicknick and their showing this past weekend in their first ever sub only comp !!

Both train exceptionally hard week in week out and jump at any chance to compete.

Both showed their hard work is paying off as every match they displayed all they have been working on !!
