If you feel stuck, this is worth looking at. For a long time I thought progress was just about effort. Work harder. Train more. Push through. But I overlooked something simple. Who I was around. The conversations. The mindset. The standards. You don’t realise it at first, but it shapes how you think, how you act, and what you accept as normal. I’ve been in rooms where everything felt small. Where people complained more than they acted. Where staying the same was comfortable. And I’ve been around people who expect more. Who move differently. Who make you raise your own standards without even saying it. That shift changes everything. You don’t suddenly become a different person overnight. But you start thinking differently. Acting differently. Expecting more from yourself. If you’re feeling stuck, it might not be your effort. It might be your environment. And once you change that, things start to move. #MensHealth #PersonalGrowth #EnvironmentMatters #over40fitness

When you’re over 40, it’s easy to think you’ve left it too late. You haven’t. You just don’t get away with the same things anymore. Less sleep hits harder. Poor food shows quicker. Skipping movement catches up faster. But the flip side is this: Small changes work incredibly well. You don’t need to overhaul your life overnight. You don’t need extreme diets or punishing routines. It starts with one walk. One decent meal. One proper session. Then you repeat it. That’s where the difference is. Not intensity. Consistency. Over time your energy improves. Your strength comes back. Your head feels clearer. Your body starts working with you again. You’re not trying to be 20. You’re trying to be better than you were yesterday. And that’s more than enough. #Over40Fitness #ConsistencyMatters #MensHealth #keepshowingup

In light of my recent pivot of going back to doing what I love most, I’ve taken a little trip down memory lane of when the modelling truly started to take hold all those years ago. A collection of the most creative, my proudest achievements and just some of my favourite shots. One post with 20 pictures barely scratches the surface of the small list above, nor does it cover all the amazing people I know I got to work with. There are some images I thought to include that I actually can’t locate on my drive which is a slight concern 🤔 and there’s so many others I know I want to include, maybe I should do another post 🤔🤪 Anyhow, It’s crazy to think that when Covid happened I thought that it was a sign that my time was up, but looking back over the pictures really has ignited the flames in knowing I’ve made the right choice. I can’t thank enough those of you who kept them going in the small amounts of time I had between shifts including my agent @motmodels To say I’m excited about what’s to come next is a huge understatement, I’m already so grateful to those of you who have reached out, I really want to get back into the creative side of things so now let’s just hope I really do still have it 🤞 Oh and it does have me wondering about growing the hair long again 😆 Ps I have tried my best to credit all of you involved, some people I can’t tag and some accounts have disappeared but if I’ve missed you please drop me a message

You are going to die. Not in a dramatic way. Not tomorrow. But one day. And when you remember that, something strange happens. Things suddenly become clearer. You realise how much time we spend worrying about things that don’t matter. What people think. Whether we might fail. Whether it’s the “right moment”. Most of the things that hold us back are invisible walls we build ourselves. The truth is, none of us know how much time we actually have. So tell people you love them. Take the risk. Go on the trip you keep talking about. Leave the situation that drains you. Start the thing you’ve been putting off. Move your body. Look after your health. Spend time in the sun. Have real conversations with people. Laugh more than you think you should. Because the goal of life isn’t just to exist safely between now and the end. It’s to experience it. To build things. To love people. To learn. To fail. To change. To grow. One day, the clock runs out for all of us. And when that day comes, the only thing that will matter is how fully you actually lived. So stop waiting for the perfect time. It was never coming. This is it. #Over40club #inspiring #motivation

How much do you actually want to feel good? Not just look a bit better in the mirror. I mean genuinely feel better. More energy when you wake up. Clearer thinking during the day. Better sleep. Stronger body. More confidence in how you move, how you show up, how you carry yourself. Getting fit isn’t just about aesthetics. The physical changes are just the visible part. The real shift happens mentally. You become more disciplined. More resilient. More capable of handling stress. Your mood stabilises. Your confidence grows quietly because you know you’re doing the work. Most people overcomplicate it. They look for the perfect program. The perfect diet. The perfect moment to start. But the basics are rarely complicated. Move your body regularly. Lift weights. Walk more. Eat enough protein. Hydrate. Sleep properly. None of it is extreme. But when you do it consistently, it compounds. And after a while the benefits start showing up everywhere in your life, not just in the gym. So the real question is simple: How much do you want to feel good? #MensHealth #ConsistencyWins #StrongBodyStrongMind #reverseageing

30 minutes sounds like a lot when you’re busy. But when you look at it properly, it’s only about 2% of your day. Most of us spend more time than that scrolling, sitting, or telling ourselves we’ll start tomorrow. You don’t need to train for hours. You don’t need a perfect plan. Just a small amount of time, done consistently, tends to move things in the right direction. Health, strength, energy… it all starts to stack up. Not dramatic. Just consistent. #MensHealth #Consistency #HealthOver40 #SmallChanges

For a long time I thought change had to be dramatic. A perfect plan. A big announcement. A clean break from everything before it. The truth is it’s usually much quieter than that. Most real change starts with a simple decision. Move a little more. Eat a little better. Raise your standards slightly. Remove a few things that aren’t helping. Then repeat that decision the next day. You don’t have to flip your whole life upside down overnight. But you do have to decide you want something different. Everything that’s changed for me over the last couple of years started with that. One decision. #MensHealthJourney #ConsistencyWins #over40 #KeepGoing

The small tweak that improved my long-term health wasn’t a supplement. It was increasing my protein intake. After 40, muscle protein synthesis becomes less responsive. You can still build and maintain muscle, but you need enough amino acids available to do it. When you eat protein, it’s broken down into amino acids. Those amino acids enter the bloodstream and are used to repair and rebuild muscle tissue after training. Training provides the stimulus. Protein provides the building material. Large resistance training meta-analyses show that muscle gain and preservation plateau around 1.6 g per kg bodyweight per day, with an upper confidence interval around 2.2 g per kg. Converted into pounds, that equates to roughly: 0.7–1.0 grams per pound of bodyweight per day. For a 200 lb man, that’s around 140–200g per day. You don’t need to overcomplicate it. You just need enough. Top 5 evidence-supported protein sources based on amino acid profile, leucine content, and bioavailability: 1. Lean beef Complete protein, rich in iron, zinc and creatine. Supports muscle repair and oxygen transport. 2. Chicken High protein density and low energy cost per gram. Simple way to raise daily intake. 3. Eggs High biological value protein with all essential amino acids plus choline for cellular health. 4. Greek yogurt Rich in casein, a slower-digesting protein that provides sustained amino acid release. 5. Whey protein Rapidly absorbed and leucine-rich, making it highly effective at stimulating muscle protein synthesis. This isn’t bodybuilding advice. It’s longevity advice. Most men don’t gain fat first. They lose muscle slowly. And when muscle drops, metabolism drops with it. You don’t need extremes. You need adequate protein, consistently. We all get 24 hours. The difference isn’t time. It’s priority. The guys who “don’t have time” usually mean they don’t have structure. Work runs over. Phones stay on. Evenings disappear into scrolling. Weekends blur. Then suddenly there’s no time for training. No time for health. No time for thinking. The guys who “always find time” aren’t less busy. They just decide in advance what matters. They schedule it. They protect it. They don’t negotiate with themselves every day. Making time isn’t dramatic. It’s small decisions repeated. You don’t need more hours. You need fewer excuses. What are you waiting for! #TimeManagement #MensHealth #Discipline #Priorities #over40

Most men overcomplicate fat loss… It isn’t magic. It isn’t a detox. It isn’t some secret protocol. It’s energy balance and muscle preservation. 10,000 steps to increase daily output. Adequate protein to protect lean mass. A small calorie deficit to create fat loss. Strength training to signal what to keep. Creatine to support performance. Remove alcohol so recovery and hormones aren’t compromised. Do this consistently for six weeks. No extremes. No starvation. No “starting again Monday.” Fat loss becomes predictable when the system is consistent. Structure creates results. #FatLoss #MensHealth #Over40Fitness #StrengthTraining #MensPerformance

I almost quit… There were dark seasons. More than once. Times where I genuinely didn’t see a way forward. And here’s the truth no one likes to say out loud: No one was coming to save me. As men, we’re told to “open up” but when we do, most people don’t know what to do with it, play it down or they don’t want to hear it. That’s just reality and that’s fucking hard to deal with. It makes you feel extremely isolated. So I stopped waiting. I had kids who needed me. Responsibilities that weren’t going anywhere. A life that wasn’t going to fix itself. So I dragged myself up. Not with motivation. With standards. Exercise became therapy. Nutrition became structure. Discipline replaced chaos. I took an addictive personality and redirected it. Less self-destruction. More self-development. For 20 years I’ve been a guinea pig on myself. Testing. Failing. Learning. Adjusting. Figuring out what works for my body, my mindset, my life. No one knows your system better than you, if you’re willing to study it. If you’re in a dark place right now, hear this: It doesn’t stay dark if you decide it won’t. But you have to want the rebuild. You have to want to be a better father. A better partner. A stronger man. No one is coming to rescue you. But that’s NOT a weakness. It’s power. Because if you built the mess, you can build the comeback. #MensMentalHealth #MensHealth #Fathers #over40vibes

Find someone who backs you properly. Not just when you’re winning. But when you’re questioning yourself. There’s a big difference between someone who enjoys the highs and someone who can handle the in-between. The days when you’re tired. Doubting. Rebuilding. Quietly figuring things out. The right partner doesn’t compete with your ambition. They protect it. They don’t shrink when you’re focused. They don’t mock your discipline. They don’t resent your growth. They steady you when your head gets noisy. And that kind of alignment is rare. At this stage of life, it’s not about drama. It’s about support, standards, and shared direction. Choose someone who believes in the man you’re becoming not just the version that’s already built. That changes everything. #MensGrowth #StrongRelationships #HighStandards #LevelUpTogether
