Somewhat of a Dream to visit the ephemeral Piano Man Jazz Club, in Delhi.

It absolutely lived up to every inkling of my dreams.

A longer video.

Tonight reminded me of all that cathartism, everything that's cleared up neural pathways & heart valves & soul strings, in my life, to make me live so everpresently in the moment!

Live Music.

A super customised electric acccordian filled sax jazz metal gig, that was beautiful beyond belief.

I won't go into details about the music, but don't miss Ckraft if you get the opportunity to watch them, on their current Indian tour. Bombay on Thursday.

My last few memories of Delhi were the Jazz Yatra-ish Festival, and Megadeth! Eons ago....

I thought, I felt, I loved..... again.

What happens when metal stops following the rules?

CKRAFT takes heavy music somewhere unexpected, blending technical precision, improvisation and avant-garde experimentation into a sound that challenges what metal can be.

Not easy to define. Definitely not easy to ignore.

COME EARLY. CATCH THEM LIVE. SUPPORT THE SCENE.

Get ready for an evening where crushing metal meets the freedom of jazz as French quintet CKRAFT brings their electrifying sound to Blue Notes School of Music.

Led by accordionist Charles Kieny, CKRAFT combines a Meshuggah-inspired metal foundation with tenor saxophone, guitar, bass, drums and a cyborg-accordion augmented with electronic sensors. The quintet features Charles Kieny (Augmented Accordion), Théo Nguyen Duc Long (Saxophone), Antoine Morisot (Guitar), Marc Karapetian (Bass), and William Bur (Drums). Their music draws from medieval polyphonies and other thousand-year-old melodies, colliding with contemporary metal and modern creativity to create a sound that is as experimental as it is powerful.
