I am deeply honoured to share that I have been selected as one of the awardees of The Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust (QECT) 100 Young Leaders Awards.

This recognition is not mine alone, it belongs to every voice that refused to stay silent, every story that demanded to be heard, and every community that continues to rise with courage and resilience and who is a part of my journey.

My journey has always been rooted in creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to lead. This moment is a reminder that meaningful change begins when we choose inclusion, empathy, and action.

What I’ve come to understand is that leadership is not about being the loudest in the room, but about creating space so others can be heard. Everything I’ve worked towards has been rooted in that belief, that dignity, voice, and opportunity should not be limited by where someone comes from or what they’ve experienced.

This recognition reflects a journey shaped by many people, shared struggles, and collective hope. It reminds me that meaningful change is never individual, it is always built together.

Grateful to represent Pakistan and be part of a global community shaping a more just and inclusive future.

Último día de la Cumbre Mundial de Juventudes junto a la Ola Joven de FP 2030. Hoy el Instituto Gates nos brindó una capacitación sobre financiamiento. Además la Directora Ejecutiva del UNFPA global Diene Keita nos dedicó unas hermosas palabras y diferentes jóvenes líderes y lideresas pudieron exponer sobre su labor en la respuesta al VIH, la crisis climática, la salud mental y las poblaciones travestis, no binarias y trans.

The Global Roadmap of Action for Adolescents and Young People's Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (GRA) has wrapped up the first East Africa Regional Leadership Accelerator Program in Lilongwe, Malawi. This Accelerator aims to cultivate a new generation of leaders in global health, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health.

Young and Alive is proud to co-lead the GRA alongside 40 other youth-led organizations globally. Our Program Director, Innocent @innocentgrant1 , was one of the participants, and our Managing Director, Otuck William @otuck_william was one of the trainers, together with @PeterNgure and @ChizobaOnyechi.

Many thanks to in-country coordinators @YETOD and @gatesjhu William Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health for supporting the Accelerator.
