I'm grateful for the opportunity to enjoy the Resonance closing exhibit reception at Brooklyn's Gather Center! My sincere thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Mistier, Blake and fellow participating Artists for their creative work and contributions. The closing reception Sound Bath given by Artist-in-Residence Sarah Yeung and accompanying Eye for Ear visual projection with sound were quite an exhilarating experience.

Being an LMT, (wellness practitioner) it is certainly a welcome opportunity to receive and be washed in therapeutic sound/vibrations that surely recalibrate one's energy reserves.

With gratitude,

Carol ~ Jazzage

Returning to Resonance:
therapeutic sound + reiki immersion

Aug 18 (Tues) 7-9pm
@gathercenter

While each of our journey is deeply personal, it id never entirely individual. We shape one another through our presence, our words, & our actions. Wheee our attention goes, our life force flows. As we remember who we truly are beneath stress, distraction, & separation, we begin to remember something else ~ that we are profoundly interconnected.

This 2-hour experience weaves together therapeutic sound, reiki energy work, and moment of intentional connection. Nourished by the tones and frequencies of traditional Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments, you’ll be guided to slow down, listen deeply, and experience resonance within tousle and in the connection we share.

Together, you’ll be invited to offer blessings for yourself, one another, and the world, creating space for compassion, connection, and the recognition that each moment of presence can ripple far beyond yourself.

Date: Aug 18, 2026 (Tues) 7-9pm

Venue: 94 Guerndey St, Brooklyn, NY
Gather Center ~ a community space dedicated to individual empowerment and unity consciousness.

This event will be held amongst the ‘resonance’ exhibit currently on view.

Logistics: please bring a yoga mat and any props (blanket, pillows, bolster, eye masks etc) that will support you le comfort during the experience.

Space is intentionally limited to 12 participants to support a more persona experience.

SONAR, our second immersive work, is on view @gathercenter Saturdays 12–5 PM through August 22 as part of their exhibition Resonance.

Set in the deep ocean, SONAR draws a parallel between echolocation and human expression. In both, something is sent outward, and what returns helps us understand our surroundings, one another, and ourselves.

Built in TouchDesigner, the piece uses Chladni patterns, Voronoi structures, and feedback systems to visualize vibration, echo, and proximity as shifting structures that map space and reveal connection through darkness.

As we documented SONAR, we saw the overhead projection move beyond the walls and onto the people in the gallery. White clothing became a canvas for the imagery, and lines of light connected viewers standing apart, making the piece’s ideas of expression and human connection tangible within the room. We’re grateful to Gather for giving us the space and resources to bring the immersive version of this work to life.

This summer, I’m honored to be an Artist in Residence @gathercenter ~ a nonprofit arts organization in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Inspiring community with creativity and consciousness, Gather provides a space for inclusive, multidisciplinary experiences that empower possibilities.

You are invited to join 2 therapeutic sonic & energy experiences in August, held within the “Resonance: Make Space to Resonate” exhibit, on view through Aug 22:
1. Returning to Resonance: a therapeutic sound bath
Aug 5 (Wed) 7-8:30pm
Amid the noise and pace of everyday life, it can become difficult to hear ourselves clearly, or to notice what we are truly in resonance with. In this 90-minute sound bath, you’ll be guided through an immersive experience shaped by traditional Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments, and invited to slow down and listen with your whole being.

2. Returning to Resonance: Sound Bath + Reiki
Aug 18 (Tues) 7-9pm
While each of our journeys is deeply personal, it is never entirely individual. This two-hour experience weaves together therapeutic sound, Reiki energy work, and moments of intentional connection, creating space for compassion, presence, and the recognition that we are profoundly interconnected.

Look forward to gathering together soon!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve begun a residency at Gather Gallery in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, where we’re developing audiovisual works for the gallery’s immersive space.

For their exhibition Resonance, we created a new immersive version of ORIGIN, expanding the original film into a room-scale experience of sound, light, and movement.

ORIGIN is showing Saturdays from 12–5 PM through August 22.

My first gallery show! My Song Gravity (A Grounding Meditation) was featured at Resonance at @gathercenter ! It opened on Friday night! It was joyous to see people listen to and respond to my song!

Gravity is all a capella and took me 3 months to record. It was truly a journey of listening to myself and finding harmony within.

There was a beautiful sound bath by resident artist @skysoundyoga .

They also debuted site specific digital immersion including Origin which reflects on the idea that all matter, space, and time were once compressed into a single point.

Thank you @allisonharrellart and @mistiermusic for the opportunity!

Thank you for always showing up and supporting @davidgwils and @creative.response.unit
And great to see you @kateraudenbush!

Go check out the rest of the art and songs at 94 Guernsey St in Brooklyn!

Another look at what is coming to @gather_center this Friday.

This is “Splendid Breath,” one of my two paintings featured in the RESONANCE exhibition. To me, this piece is about the literal vibration of existence - how a single breath connects us to the larger frequencies of the Earth.

I am so looking forward to seeing these works in the beautiful, immersive space at @gather_center.

Join us for the opening reception:
Friday, July 17
5:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Thrilled to have these three pieces included in @gathercenter’s upcoming show Resonance 💫

“We are resonance materialized. Frequency is information;
existence is vibration.” Gather Center’s annual Consciousness Spiral invites “inputs of inspiration and collaboration expanding on individual empowerment in parallel with unity consciousness.”
