A month since blowing my knee out, taking time off from shooting, pretty much spraining my wrist, and still somehow came back and took 3rd place, i moved slower than i normally would so i cost myself on time but otherwise felt pretty good. Next stop is the Carolina Classic so we’ll see 🤷🏻‍♂️

Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my 31st birthday.

Working with good people and shooting with the bros.
One thing we will do in OP//MO is exceed the standard and train our asses off. 🤘🏾🤙🏾

Forever grateful for my tribe. I’m blessed to be surrounded by a group of men that want to see me win, a group of men that believe in personal growth and training. When you find people whose goals align with yours do whatever you can to hold on to those people. Shoutout to the real ones. You know who you are. Thankful for the most high, i’m grinding to be the best🤘🏾 #OPMO

Well I did it. And when I say "I", know that I mean a ton of people helped me re-enter the world of competition but in a new way through competitive shooting. Ive explained to people many times that I never really enjoyed mixed martial arts competition, it was something I forced myself to do becuase I thought I had too at the time. I always enjoyed the learning but competition with my extreme anxiety was hell everytime. Im thankful to say I have learned to manage some of those aspects enough to now possibly even enjoy competing or atleast under the circumstances I had at @pointblankrange_carolinas shooting @uspcaofficial w/ @gil_fortitude_consulting / @jared_thepewjitsu (whom I owe much of this too) . What I mean by circumstances, with the right people (tagged as many of you as i can), and right place PBR(my home range) I felt so much more "relaxed" then I would have. I did well-ish. I didnt DQ and didnt make a fool of myself. I went at a moderate speed ( i know i am faster), and shot decent (I know I can do better) and still did ok. Im happy I conquered the fear, and im ready for my next training day. I learned a few lessons that slowed me down, I made a simple mistake on one stage where I didnt send enough rounds and had an issue with my optic that I had dropped a week before competition that started acting up. I appreciate each instance as they are an opportunity to learn and grow. Ill be processing some post anxiety for the next day or so but its well worth it for how accomplished I feel by challenging myself in something new. So yeaa, have you ever considered competitive shooting but havent taken the step forward? let me be a nudge to get you in that direction. If I can do it, anyone can! I have some friends that are great shooters that should really join me. Thanks for all the support/ love. Thanks to my weekly training partners who really push me @griplookpressflo / @optimist_prlme . Thanks to @modern_samurai_project for taking the extra time to walk me through the stages and always being a resource and friend. I appreciate all the new friends made and as always thankful to have @kingpotterystudio there to cheer me! Ill be back!

A stage from last nights @theuspsa match. Really deep field of competitors, getting to share the range with these guys is always a pleasure, this was also my first match switching from Production to Limited Optics.

Have a few things to work on as expected, but overall, adjusted to the dot pretty well and had a solid outing. I’d estimate around a 20% increase in speed compared to iron sights as well. Looking forward to seeing where this limited optics journey takes us 🤙🏻

Shoutout to all the guys in squad and all the homies who showed up to burn it down last night 😎👊🏼
