Every wedding is made up of hundreds of little details. Before we get into the photographs, hereā€™s this wedding in its simplest form. Every space, every little detail and every element that came together to shape this beachside celebration. Think of it as a visual map of everything thatā€™s about to unfold. The part you donā€™t see. Hours of collecting references, questioning ideas, moving things around and obsessing over details that most people will never notice. Because translating a place into an experience is never as simple as picking a theme. Vietnam gave us the story. We just brought it to life. Growing up, weddings werenā€™t about perfectionā€¦ they were about people. Community. Contribution. Everyone playing a part šŸ¤ So for our wedding, we wanted to go back to that feeling. The night before, at our pizza & mehndi party, we created three simple stations and invited every guest to get involved: āœØ Making our antarpat āœØ Creating our haars for the varmala (jaimala) ceremony āœØ Designing the floral arrangements for the next day The haars felt especially special. Weā€™d seen them made so many times growing up so we learned, practised, and even found a few hacks (ribbon + upholstery needles = game changer). And one key tip? Donā€™t make them the same lengthā€”make them finish at the same height. Trust us. For the flowers, we kept it simple. Because we knew the real beauty of the day would always be our people. So instead of over-designing, we let our guests create itā€”350 vases, a few bouquets, and a lot of love. Throughout the evening, everyone stopped by, made a few piecesā€¦ and unknowingly became part of the wedding itself. So the next day, everywhere you looked, there was something made by someone you love. And that meant everything šŸŒø #GayWedding #HinduWedding #WeddingInspiration #LGBTQWedding #ModernWedding

READ ME! ā¬‡ļø Why this Antarpat created a new trend! We were so honoured that Harryā€™s mother made our antarpat for us. Traditionally, itā€™s the cloth held between the couple at the start of the ceremony, before we see each other as husbands. It symbolises our separate lives up until that moment, and when itā€™s lowered, it marks the exact moment weā€™re brought together to start our married life. What makes it even more special is that it was sewn on Harryā€™s great grandmotherā€™s sewing machine, connecting generations through a small idea. In the middle -> three blessed chundris from Mama Laxmi Mandir and Siddhivinayak Mandir in Mumbai, which are powerful symbols of protection, love, and blessing in my culture. The Priestā€™s from both temples actually even gifted us Sindoor taken directly off the altar within the inner sanctum of the temples, we placed in a small bundle and have stitched inside the antarpat. So when we saw each other for the first time, we were literally surrounded by divine blessings and family love. And the night before, at our mendhi / pizza party, we asked everyone we love to dip their hands in red paint (symbolising vermillion) and leave a handprint on the white part. In Hinduism, blessings are often given with the palm, so having everyoneā€™s handprints means we will be stepping into marriage with the visible support and blessings of all the people who matter to us. That night we collected 150 hand prints and one special set of paw prints from Louis! For us it become one of the most meaningful parts of the ceremony because of everything it holds ā€“ tradition, love and work, family legacy, community blessings, and our faith. But weā€™re really excited about is that we have seen so many other couples around the world started adopting this idea. All those other couples we wish you nothing but a lifetime of health and happiness. Xxx #gayhindu #lgbtindia #gaywedding #hinduwedding #antarpat
