POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Would you sleep here tonight? 🌧️

When it rains in Gaza, the water gets inside the tents. Mud, cold, and nowhere dry to sleep.

Last winter, we did something about it. We went tent by tent, covering families with new tarps. One family dry, then the next.

All of it was possible because of people like you. 🤍

Winter is here again, and the tents are more worn out than ever.

👉 Help us cover more tents this winter. Donate through the link in my bio.

One night of rain can flood an entire tent. 💧
Last winter, our team went tent to tent in Gaza, covering leaking shelters so families and children could sleep dry. This winter, the rain is coming again, and many more families are waiting.

Last winter, the rain reached the tents in Gaza. Worn covers couldn't keep the water out.
Thanks to you, we covered tents with new tarps. 🤍

Winter is coming again. 🌧️
$60 = one tarp that keeps a whole family dry.

💛 $30 → half a tarp
💛 $60 → one family covered
💛 $120 → two families
💛 $300 → five families

Every donation goes to buying and installing tarps, and I'll share photos of every delivery.
👉 Donate through the link in my bio. Can't donate? Please share. 🙏

🎨 “Unforgettable Memory” | Art Workshop Commemorating October 7th

On the anniversary of a day that changed so much in our lives, children gathered to express the changes they've experienced, the things they miss, and the dreams they still hold onto.

We didn't ask them to draw the war, nor did we tell them what to draw… we simply gave them paper, colors, and space to express themselves in their own way.

The drawings were diverse, but they all shared one common thread: each child's unique experience.

Some children drew details of their daily struggles: waiting in line for water, the bombing and destruction, displacement, tents, and the search for the most basic necessities.

Others chose to draw their dreams for the future; one child dreams of becoming a doctor, another dreams of becoming an artist, and still others drew what they hope their lives will be like someday.

And some chose to draw nostalgia… for their home, for their former life, and for small details that once seemed ordinary before becoming something we miss.

The papers were different, the colors were different, the stories were different… but behind every drawing was a child trying to say something.

At “Art and Hope,” we believe that art is not just drawing, but a space where a child can express their feelings, preserve their memories, and give their dreams room to grow.

From pain, they drew what they lived through; from nostalgia, they drew what they lost; and from hope, they drew what they wished to become. 🌱🎨

Sometimes we imagine that helping requires something enormous.

But sometimes it is smaller than that.

A hand.
A name carried a little farther.
A light left on.
A match passed carefully from one person to another.

Sometimes all a life needs
is a match
someone was willing
to shield from the wind.

Leave some light for Ahmed.

Gaza Farmers Project update 🐥🐥
Qusay & Shema’s 4 baby hens, Mila, Lina, Katkoot and Zuzu and little rooster, Sesame are growing up strong! And thanks to the @gazanledcsf community, they have been joined by 6 more hens - Amal, Mahzouza, Saeeda, Maymoona, Hiba and Henny Penny!
Qusay has built a chicken run for them and at night they are tucked away safely in their coop.
Shema is hoping they will start producing eggs for the camp community soon!

our monthly goal to cover these expenses is only 100 to ensure the health of the flock
