This new digital life has allowed me to connect with so many new humans. What a blessing to learn about so many of your wellness journeys and to be chosen as a coach that supports you.

I want to introduce you to three rockstars that have entered my coach life since March. They represent what the Digital Studio is all about.

Meet Guerlaine @guerlaineguerrier She's a 47 year old Director/cofounder of a Garderie in LaSalle. She has struggled with body image and health issues her whole life and when we hit the beginning of the pandemic she decided it was time to make a change. She admits that at first she was only watching my live trainings in her pyjamas for entertainment but then one day she just got up and started moving and she showed up for herself. In the basement of her home, she found her motivation. By showing up twice a week to do my live trainings she has lost 60 pounds in 7 months and most importantly she no longer needs to sleep with her apnee machine. In her words "I have more energy, I have much better self esteem and I'm more patient with my life/work/kids overall". You are inspiring and I'm blessed to be in your corner.

Meet Laurence @yolaue She's a 23 year old McGill Medicine student who has always loved training. She jumped on board in March and hasn't stopped since. She is clearly someone who needs to be challenged and I love that my coaching brings her that push, the desire to progress and the motivation to keep reaching for the next level in her fitness. Pumped to support you in your journey as you become a powerful young woman. In her words "it's more than just about fitness, it’s about showing us our potential in life in general as human beings."

Meet 24 year old @gbevsss She's a project manager in a marketing agency. She has lost 45 pounds since March by adapting a healthier lifestyle. She feels so much stronger now and aware of the importance of her physical and mental well-being. She says "my life has truly taken a 180 by finally putting myself first!" It's been so motivating as a coach to watch you find your POWER.

Every day is similar to the other. No physical contact with anyone but my parents and sister, yet a ton of virtual contact with other family members and friends. Thankfully, I still have my job, so that keeps me occupied during the week. I work from home, so that’s definitely a change. Besides that, I have been using these times to my advantage – to focus on my mental health by going for walks, working out, and taking it ‘easy’ i.e. trying not to stress and putting less pressure on myself.

I have also been using this time to work on bringing to fruition my side projects, which connect directly to my passion, the music industry. The hardest part is not seeing nor hugging my grandparents – Nonna & Nonno. Two people who are extremely precious to me and who I was used to seeing a few times a week. I miss them tremendously, but I know that them being isolated from everyone is the best way to ensure they do not catch this virus.

COVID-19 had at first, heightened my stress levels. Always looking at the news, constantly hearing about it everywhere I turned, it always being the main point of discussion in conversations with friends and family. I was very stressed, very nervous to catch it, very nervous that my family members would catch it, nervous that the government would not take the proper measures to ‘flatten the curve’. I had trouble sleeping and focusing.

Since then, I’ve decided to shut it all off. Turn off the news, not click on posts relating to the subject, deviate the conversation when it is mentioned. At the end of the day, I am not a doctor, I am not a scientist, I am not a frontline worker, so all I can do is control my own actions by following the rules in place, and try to ensure those around me follow them as well. This has allowed me to more easily ‘accept’ this new reality we are living.
