So many emotions over this race.

Sad, proud, upset, shocked, grateful, angry, lucky, blessed, thankful but at the end of the day the feeling I am choosing is proud.

At mile 7 my injured leg started to hurt.
At mile 12 I thought maybe I should call it and finish with the half marathoners.
At mile 14 the leg pain went away.
At mile 18 I started to throw up and couldn't keep anything down. I would run, throw up, walk a little and repeat all the way to 26.2.
At mile 19 the sub 4 hour pacer passed me and I knew at this point I wasn't going sub 4 and that stung.

Im proud of myself for finishing 26.2 and proud of myself for not quiting when this was possibly the hardest race I've ever done.

Offical chip time: 4:07:47

At the end of the day its just one race and we can't always have good races. Thankful for what this training block has taught me and proud of all the hard work I put in.

Thank you Coach Toni for letting me to this start line.
