This guitar has a pretty special story behind it! 🎸✋

When @michellewrightmusic and I travelled to Zimbabwe with our friends at @worldvisioncan, we invited the kids who sang on our song “We Are One” to leave their handprints on this guitar. And now, those handprints are travelling across Canada with us on The Great Canadian Roadtrip!

A HUGE thank you to @godin_guitars for generously donating the guitar and to the incredibly talented @mathiaschau_art for donating his time and artistry to bring this beautiful piece to life and preserve those special handprints.

If you're coming to a show, make sure you stop by the World Vision Canada display to see the guitar in person! And if you choose to sponsor a child, you'll receive a special pin that's a miniature replica of the guitar. Pretty cool!

Today kicks off the Great Canadian Road Trip! 🇨🇦❤️

One of the most special parts of this journey with Jason was our time in Zimbabwe with World Vision. We had the opportunity to share music, laughter, and some unforgettable moments with the kids we met along the way. 🎶❤️

As we hit the road across Canada, I’m carrying those memories with me and can’t wait to share more of this journey with
you all.

Let’s make this a trip to remember! 🤍

My conversation with @shawncavallo on World Vision Canada’s The Vision Journal is out today! 🎙

While in Zimbabwe, I had the incredible opportunity to meet Michael, the 11-year-old boy I sponsor through @worldvisioncan. Getting to spend time with him, see what his daily life looks like, and learn more about the challenges he faces had a big impact on me and it’s an experience I’ll never forget. 🧡

Shawn & I talked about my time in Zimbabwe, the people I met, and how World Vision Canada is helping create opportunities for children and communities to build brighter futures.

No matter where we live in the world, we all want the same things for the ones we love.

During our trip to Zimbabwe with @worldvisioncan, I asked families what they wanted most for their children. Since coming home, I’ve been asking Canadian families the same question.

The answers may be a little different, but they all come back to the same thing: wanting our kids to have the opportunity to learn, grow and build a good life.

Different places. Different lives. But when it comes to the people we love, we have a whole lot more in common than we think. 🧡
