Book cover lettering for @foliosociety limited edition of ‘Tales from the 1001 Nights’. Features fifty insane watercolour plates bound in a 18” x 13.5” gold foiled calfskin volume that lives along side a text volume in a ‘solander presentation box’ bound in cloth with gold and cream foil lettering. It’s about the size of a terrier and weighs a freakin tonne! #handlettering #design #lettering #bookcover #bookcoverdesign #publishing

Sketch for ‘Tales from The One Thousand and One Nights’ illustrated by Salvador Dali. Dali did these nutty watercolour illustrations back in the 60s and the clever folks at @foliosociety published in an incredible limited edition book last year. More images to follow. #lettering #handlettering #design #serifs #interlock #handlettering #bookcover #bookcoverdesign #gedpalmer #
