Podium on the World Stage! 🥉🌍

What an achievement for our Wolfi’s Racing Team athlete @Gem6421 3rd in the world in the Long Distance Aquabike World Championships!

After a strong swim, clocking in under one hour despite tough currents, things took a turn on the bike with a mechanical issue early on. Staying calm, they fixed it, got back into the race, and pushed through the laps despite the growing fatigue.

Crossing the line and seeing that 🥉 next to their name was pure magic—a moment of disbelief, joy, and pride on the world stage. Proof that sticking to the plan, staying focused, and never giving up leads to greatness.

Congratulations on this incredible podium Gem, what a ride, what a race, what a result! 👏🔥

Thanks to our amazing sponsors to make it happen @breitling @sciconsports @lakecycling @abus_cycling for supporting us on every ride!

Well done to all our athletes who raced or trained this long weekend - we are very proud of you! ☀️🏃‍♀️🚴‍♂️

With summer temperatures rising, staying on top of hydration, nutrition, and recovery is just as important as the training itself.

Big kudos to those who listened to their bodies, dialed things back, or swapped sessions for some well-earned rest and recovery. That’s smart training, too.

Remember: consistency > intensity

Make it a strong week ahead team 👏

Meet the members of 2024/25 Wolfi's Racing Team: *Gemma Brown*

Coming from an international sporting background, Gemma has always been deeply involved in various sports. After moving to Abu Dhabi, she discovered triathlons and entered her first race in 2017 where she finished an impressive 4th in her age group. That experience sparked a love for the sport that quickly turned into a true obsession.
Balancing nearly full-time training with her role as Head of PE at Repton School Abu Dhabi, Gemma has built a racing career full of unforgettable moments. One of her proudest achievements was representing Great Britain’s Age Group team at her first World Championships, right in Abu Dhabi. Since then, she has gone on to race in two more World Championships, finishing 13th and 4th — just 10 seconds shy of a podium finish.
For Gemma, triathlon is more than just a sport; it’s a way to clear her mind, push past challenges, and transform months of hard work into the thrill of race day, no matter the outcome.
Gemma is incredibly proud to represent the Wolfi’s Racing Team, finding true fulfillment in being a role model for fellow athletes and the students she inspires every day.

Thanks to our amazing sponsors @breitling @sciconsports @lakecycling @abus_cycling for supporting us no matter what!

Meanwhile, back under sunset skies, Alison and Gemma tore up the Ride Beyond Sunset course, each topping the podium in their age groups and showing the field how it’s done. 🏆

Drop a 🙌 in the comments to celebrate these powerhouse women and the inspiration they bring to every ride.

Another weekend, two races.
1600m and 800m swim (at times it felt more like survivor).
🥉 3rd place in 1600m
🥈 2nd place in 800m

And once again, sharing the podium with my race BFF Gemma – it’s becoming a tradition.
Noor was there with one more epic achievement – 800m all by herself.
You should see her in that crowd – she was like a shark. 🦈

And of course, Kristina – who brought her swimming enthusiasm with her, and now, after just a few months in AD, she’s already on fire at every swimming event. 💥🏊‍♀️💙
