POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today I got to wear two hats at Aura…
host AND guest speaker 🙌

I absolutely loved it 💗

I wanted to speak about one of my favourite Positive Psychology topics — strengths

Unlocking my strengths has been so fundamental to working in alignment with who I am 🤩 & I loved getting the opportunity to share the work with the @auranetworkingforwomen ladies 💪

Strengths work are not doing more things we think we should be better at
Not about fixing our weaknesses
But understanding the qualities that are already naturally strong within us & learning how to use them more intentionally in our lives, leadership and businesses 🚀

My own Top 5 VIA Character Strengths are:

✨ Sense of Humour
✨ Appreciation of beauty & excellence
✨ Love of Learning
✨ Kindness
✨ Love

The more I understand my strengths, the more I can see how much they shape the way I coach, lead, build relationships & feel at Aura 💗

What I loved most today was watching people recognise themselves in their own strengths, those little “Ohhhh… that makes so much sense!” moments 🙌

Because when you know what’s naturally strong in you, you can stop trying to be somebody else’s version of successful & start working with who you already are !

That’s where confidence grows
That’s where things begin to feel more aligned
And that’s where we perform at our best too 💃

Such a gorgeous morning of connection, conversation, learning and plenty of coffee ☕️

Thank you to everyone who came along and threw themselves into the workshop
& can’t wait to see you at Aura in the City in October 🤩

Different women. Different conversations. Different months.
But look closely and there’s a common thread.

People are talking.
They’re listening.
They’re laughing.
They’re learning.
They’re making connections that have a reason to continue beyond the room.

And that was always the point.

Connections… With Purpose isn’t about collecting contacts. It’s about creating connections.

We deliberately keep our gatherings smaller because I’d rather you leave having had three conversations that mattered than having exchanged details with thirty people you barely remember.

There’s time to talk properly.
Time to hear from someone who brings a different perspective.
Time to reflect.
And, importantly, time afterwards to reconnect and ask: What am I going to do with what I heard?

These photographs tell that story better than any polished sales pitch could. They’re real rooms, real conversations and a growing community.

And on Wednesday 16th September, we’re doing it again.

This month, transformational coach Karen Shaw joins us for our mini masterclass exploring Confident Communication and the Energy of Language.

Why do the right words seem to flow with some people and completely desert us with others?

How much does the energy we bring into a conversation affect what comes back?

And what happens when we start becoming more conscious not only of what we say, but the energy behind it?

Come and be part of the conversation.

📍 The Belmore, Sale
Wednesday 16th September
9.30am to 11.30am

Come for the masterclass.
Come for the conversation.
Come to meet people.

But perhaps most importantly, come with purpose.

Because you
never quite know which conversation might point you towards your True North.

Meet Gemma Krysko. Founder of We Are Indigo. Creator of Queens of Tomorrow. A woman who has built global campaigns, championed female founders, and proven that the most powerful networks aren’t built in boardrooms — they’re built on trust.

Gemma is coming to PERMISSION to talk about three things:

Dropping the imposter syndrome for good.
Building networks that actually lift you (yes, sometimes that includes a dancefloor in Ibiza 🕺).
And trusting your gut — even when every “expert” in the room is telling you something different.

She has spent her career getting brilliant women to believe they deserve to take up space.

And on the 17th? She’s doing it again. In Manchester.

3 things I wish I’d known before I started my coaching business… 🤔

When I first started coaching, I thought being a great coach was about having the right qualifications, tools and strategies✅

And yes, they matter

But what I’ve learnt is that who you become is just as important as what you know ✨

1. Coaches need Coaches ⭐️
You can’t keep asking other people to grow if you’re not willing to keep growing yourself!

Some of my biggest shifts have come from investing in my own development, being challenged, looking at my blind spots and having someone hold a bigger vision for me when I couldn’t quite see it myself. Thank you @gemma_easdon 💗

2. Clarity changes EVERYTHING 👏
The clearer I’ve become about who I want to work with, the work I want to do and the impact I want to make, the easier everything else has become

You don’t need to be for everyone. In fact, trying to be usually dilutes the very thing that makes you brilliant

3. Coaching isn’t about having all the answers 🤩

It’s about holding space
Creating a vision
Building belief

Asking the question that changes the way someone sees something 👀

And doing all of that with integrity, aligned values & a desire to help someone become more of who they already have the potential to be 💪

The longer I do this work, the more I believe that the inner work creates the outer results🙌

Not just for our clients

For us too

Build the belief
Build the vision
Build the person capable of creating it

The results have a funny way of following✨

Thank God, I’m home!

I always love sharing this event with these wonderful women.

Just our third event and so much wisdom shared.

@gemma_easdon shared some wonderful pearls of wisdom - wisdom gained through her personal and professional life.

@vickysmith7000 - my co-conspirator at this event, was on holiday - as were a few of our regular attendees.

Vicky would have ensured that a greater selection of photos were available. I get so engrossed in the morning that I do forget to take pics.

Apologies to those, who attended but had to leave - before I got the camera out for the group shot.

@silverbrook_hypnotherapy wasn’t able to join us today but the ‘fans’ she presented us with last month came in very handy. We felt you were there with us.

@smiles.by.dr.aisha from @saledental joined us with a colleague and gifted us pocket size mirrors - handy for checking your perfect smile; ‘Lippy on’ ; and spinach free. Thank you. So lovely to see you again Aisha.
#i love the energy in the room and was thrilled to welcome new faces to the group - some I have known for a while @fayeroddy_coaching @gifts2giftuk @sacredspace_cheshire and @lisabthecoach and Jessica from The vintage Club.

And huge thanks to my members who have been with me from the start. @lindsay.petrie.5 @debwilsonnjt @writing_with_rebekah and Alison.

We have now taken a break for the month of August. See y’all on 2nd Sept 1:30 - 2:30 online.

THE BLUEPRINT SESSIONS | Mentor Spotlight

Meet Gemma Easdon

“She helps women navigate change, build confidence, and take their next step with purpose. Sound familiar?”

Life is full of moments where you’re expected to know the answer.

What subjects should I choose?
What do I want to become?
What if I make the wrong decision?

For many young women, those questions can feel overwhelming.
But what if you didn’t need all the answers?
What if you simply needed the right environment to discover them?

That’s why we’re so excited to introduce Gemma Easdon, our mentor for Confidence & Self-Belief.

As a Performance Coach, Gemma helps women navigate change, build confidence, and gain clarity about their future. What makes her coaching so powerful is that it comes from lived experience. She’s faced uncertainty herself, rebuilt her confidence, and understands what it feels like to stand at a crossroads.

During The Blueprint Sessions, Gemma will encourage our young women to embrace change, trust themselves, and remember that they don’t have to have everything figured out before taking the next step.

Because confidence doesn’t grow in isolation.
It grows in the right environment.
Where questions are welcomed.
Where ideas become businesses.
Where strangers become lifelong friends.
Where one conversation can change the direction of a life.

Your next step doesn’t have to be certain. It just has to be purposeful.

June, you were a BLAST 💥

A month full of growth, connection and so many moments to be grateful for 💗

From hosting Aura and Aura in the City, to attending KCC Female Leaders, Hard Hats to Heels, Vision to Action with @gemma_easdon & Show Your Light Live with @susie_sprigg. Every room was filled with inspiring women, big conversations and energy that reminded me why I do what I do 🙌

June also saw the launch of my Summer Success Reset, helping ambitious women create momentum over the summer instead of starting September in recovery mode🚀

Personally, this month has been huge 💪
🎂 Celebrating Rose’s 16th birthday
🎓 Watching her finish her GCSEs & enjoy an unforgettable prom
❤️ Celebrating 21 years of marriage
🧘‍♀️ Lots of Pilates (and then even more Pilates!)
🐾 Daily dog walks that keep me grounded
🥂 Time with wonderful friends
💵 Supporting some great charities @eastcheshirehospice & @girls.outloud
📷 Photoshoot with @gwbrandphotography

Business is growing, opportunities are opening up, and I’m feeling incredibly excited about what’s ahead 🙌🙌

Here’s to carrying this momentum into July 🤩

What’s been your biggest highlight from June? ✨

Two week recap…Sometimes I get so caught up in the next booking, the next install, the next deadline, that I forget to stop and look back.

Then I scroll through my camera roll…

School proms.
Corporate events.
Festival VIP areas.
Political campaigns.
Luxury birthday celebrations.
Private dining.
Sporting events.
Prom reveals that families will remember forever.

Every setup tells a different story, and every client has trusted me to be part of one of their biggest moments.

It’s easy to think of balloons as decorations, but to me they’re so much more. They’re the backdrop to memories, celebrations, milestones and achievements. They’re the first thing guests see, the place people gather, laugh, hug and take photographs that they’ll look back on for years to come.

To every client who has booked Mandy Brighton Events over the past two weeks—thank you.

Thank you for trusting my creativity.
Thank you for believing in my vision.
Thank you for allowing me to do what I genuinely love every single day.

As I look ahead, I promise to keep pushing myself creatively, refining every detail and raising the standard with every event I design.

Because every celebration deserves to feel extraordinary.

Here’s to creating even more unforgettable moments. ✨

Guest Speaker 💫

This week brings the June House of Founders and I’m super excited to introduce the wonderful @gemma_easdon 🙌

“I work with female professionals and founders who are successful, capable and questioning what comes next.

My coaching goes beyond surface level strategy or mindset shifts. Drawing on psychology led performance training, including my work with Tony Robbins, I help clients identify and resolve the internal patterns that quietly shape how they think, decide and lead.

By combining strategy with deep, compassionate inner work, I support women to create meaningful change that doesn’t require pushing harder, abandoning themselves or becoming someone they’re not.”

See you all on Thursday for a gorgeous morning under the wisteria 💜
