Forget the man in suit and look at what he is holding.

One thing I always do is to carry an evidence so that when I speak it is well understood. Someone said communication is not complete when words come out of your mouth but when understanding enters the mind.

The speaker and his evidence.

On the 21st of may, I was honoured to be amongst the guest speakers at the 'Building A Career Through Creative Skills' event organised by @genach.inc which was targeted to secondary schools.

One of the things I said was that " There is no template for self discovery". I said this because I was filled with so much joy seeing the privilege and opportunity given to these students to be able to discover themselves and be self aware early enough through the teachings and wealth of knowledge from the different speakers during the panel sessions.

It reminded me that the future isn't something we enter, rather it is something we create through consciousness and intentionality and the students were able to prove this by the way they displayed confidence, courage, intelligence and creativity during the different presentations all through the event.

Kindness truly speaks.
I’m so excited and grateful to share that I emerged as 2nd position in the Genach Kindness Challenge 🤍
What started as a simple story about checking up on someone turned into a powerful reminder that small acts can prevent big damage. Reaching out, caring intentionally, and being present for people is never a waste.
Thank you so much to Genach Incorporation for creating a platform that not only rewards kindness but actively promotes reform, education, and support for people in need. We need more organizations like this ones that see humanity first.
This recognition means a lot to me, and it has encouraged me to keep choosing compassion, even in small ways.
Let’s normalize checking up on people. Let’s normalize kindness. It really does make a difference 🤍

As part of the 14 Days of Kindness Challenge, Day 11 prompted us to check in on someone we hadn’t spoken to in a while. I thought of Osato, a friend who had always been vibrant and full of life, but someone I hadn’t connected with in months.

With a mix of excitement and apprehension, I picked up the phone and called him. When he answered, I could tell right away that his usual spark was dim. After some light conversation, I gently inquired about how he had been. To my surprise, he opened up about his struggles with depression, revealing a heaviness I had not expected.

My heart sank as I listened to him. It took incredible courage for Osato to share his feelings, and in that moment, I made a silent promise to be there for him. “You’re not alone in this,” I reassured him, trying to convey the depth of my support.

I offered to pray for him, asking for peace and strength to envelop him. We talked extensively about his dreams and aspirations, and it became clear how much he yearned for direction. He expressed a desire to take his career and spiritual life seriously, feeling like those aspects of himself had been put on hold.

Inspired by our conversation, Osato began to explore new paths.
Few days later, I saw significant changes in Osato. He began to actively pursue opportunities, engaging in projects that reignited his passion.
Yesterday ,he shared how investing in his passions transformed his daily life. “I feel like I’m finally aligning with who I’m meant to be,” he said, his voice filled with excitement. It was a beautiful reminder that our conversations had played a pivotal role in his awakening.
Reflecting on this journey, I’m filled with gratitude. That simple act of checking in opened up a dialogue that sparked Osato’s transformation. It emphasizes the profound impact of kindness and connection how a genuine inquiry can lead to real change.
Osato and I are closer than ever now, united not just by friendship but by a shared journey of growth. True connection can lift spirits, ignite passions, and guide us back to ourselves.#GenachKindnessChallenge

I recently participated in the 14 day #genachkindnesschallenge organized by @genach.inc. and among the challenges, number 11 touched me the most.

I didn’t know that this simple act would impact me so deeply.

It reminded me that we should never assume people are fine just because they don’t reach out. Many of us make that mistake. We assume they don’t want to check up on us, not realizing they may be going through battles we know nothing about.
Life as an adult is not always easy. Everyone carries different responsibilities and challenges. Some people are struggling silently. Some are fighting battles we cannot see.

During the challenge, I decided to check up on a longtime friend. That was when I found out that things had not been going well for him. He had recently lost his mother — and he had already lost his father years ago. His mother was his only hope and support.
Listening to him broke my heart.

He told me how abandoned he felt, how no relatives called to check on him, and how he had even thought about committing suicide because he felt no one cared. Hearing that shook me deeply.
When he told me that my call meant so much to him, I almost cried. I felt bad for assuming he didn’t want to reach out, not knowing he was silently going through so much.

I encouraged him, comforted him, and reminded him that he is not alone. He appreciated the call and promised not to give up. He said he would keep pushing to become a better version of himself despite everything.

That conversation changed me.
From that day, I made a decision: I will stop assuming my friends are okay. Instead of assuming they don’t want to check on me, I will check on them.
Sometimes, one call can save a life.

I sincerely appreciate Genach for creating this opportunity. Through this challenge, I was able to show up for a friend when he truly needed someone.
Kindness costs nothing, but it can mean everything.

Reachout 360° was a resounding success!

Over the weekend, I volunteered with Genach Incorporation Organization as the Welfare Team Lead. We visited an internally displaced persons camp, providing health talks, medical check-ups, and essential medications.

The highlight was conducting a skill acquisition program, which I had the privilege of organizing. Seeing the smiles on their faces and experiencing their joy brought me so much fulfillment.

Also, sharing God's love and bringing hope to those in need was truly an unforgettable experience.
