Abs are the bonus. Being the dad who can keep up is the goal.

I coach fighters and working dads all day, then I go home to two kids of my own. Home is the harder workout — and it’s the one I train for.

Your kids are learning what strong means from watching you. How you eat. How you handle stress. Whether you keep your word to yourself.

Lift heavy. Eat to fuel. Sleep like it matters.

Stronger dads, one rep at a time.

They wrapped your neck.

Now what? 👀

Here’s what most people miss: to finish the guillotine, he needs your hips. He has to jump guard or lift you. Push the hips away and the choke goes nowhere.

Defense

1️⃣ Push his hips away
2️⃣ Reach over and grab the head
3️⃣ Drive your opposite hip to the floor
4️⃣ Grab the leg and circle
5️⃣ Keep the head, trap the arm
6️⃣ Gable grip
7️⃣ Switch your hips and drive your shoulder into the neck
Same finish as Defense #1: the Von Flue choke (🎥 UFC clip: @hulksmashbjj)

💾 Save it
📲 Send it to your training partner
Defense #1 is on my page.

Caught in a guillotine?

Choke them with it. (Von Flue Choke)

Getting caught isn’t the problem. Panicking is.
Last week I showed you the guillotine. Now here’s how to beat it 👇

1️⃣ Circle to the far hip
2️⃣ Grab the single leg
3️⃣ Pop your hip and fall over
4️⃣ Trap the arm that’s around your neck
5️⃣ Gable grip and drop ALL your weight on their neck
That’s the Von Flue choke. They grabbed your neck, and now their own arm finishes them. Works in the UFC too (🎥 @hulksmashbjj)

💾 Save this for your next roll
📲 Send it to the partner who always goes for your neck

You’re not lazy.

You’re a man with no mission.

No plan. No target. Just work, bills, repeat — then wondering why you feel empty at the end of the day.

I know that feeling. I lived it. And the way out wasn’t more motivation. It was one promise I kept to myself today.

Start with one. Keep it today. Then do it again tomorrow.

If you’re done drifting, DM me READY and let’s build your mission.

1-1 on paper, but I walked out of that ring feeling like an absolute winner. Call it a loss if you want, but I won the life I set out to build—to inspire, to shift perspective, and to leave a mark on this world. I am BigBadAssLuna, and I remain undefeated in life because quitting isn’t in my DNA. Back to the lab. There’s still way too much left in the tank.

Proud coach moment 👏🏻

Shoutout to every one of my athletes who stepped in the cage at ALTA this Saturday. Win, lose, or draw, every single one of you leveled up.

This camp wasn’t just about fight night. You changed your habits, dropped the weight, and showed up to the gym day after day. That consistency is the real win.

Remember: this isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. Martial arts and fitness are a lifestyle, and Saturday was just one chapter of the journey.

Most people will never know what it takes to walk out and compete. You did it. Super proud of every one of you. 💪

Be the Standard!

Today I got to see @_lil_spice complete the long, hard journey to an MMA debut. You won’t find a more humble, hard working kid. Deeply rewarding day as a coach.

Also got to corner @therealjaypounds who is now 2-0 with his second submission. Shout out to all of the @ufcgymhuntingtonbeach fighters.

Congratulations to @generalklee @rich_chou on another outstanding event. Those are two real unsung heroes of this game. I think they’re just getting started 👀

My cousin Wyn’s first time at live fights and @trainalta definitely delivered 🔥
