Some of our favourite frames from the day, plus a few stories behind them. 🎥📸 This spec ad for @saucony_eu started with one question for two runners: What Does Running Mean To Me? Isaiah and Danielle answered it in the studio that morning, then we took to the Shoreditch streets in the afternoon to capture it in motion. We’re incredibly happy to have won Best SFX and been nominated for Best Horror at @2countiesiff 🏆 Our Makeup & SFX team wove SCAB’s story into every wound, texture and bit of blood on screen. Putting so much care into researching Dermatillomania and staying truthful to the condition in every detail. A big thank you to the @2countiesiff team for recognising their hard work 🫶 @darknessandsparkle_ @rosabel_mua @makeupbykatelinn 👏👏👏 #shortfilm #indiefilm #sfxmakeup

Last Saturday, we were delighted to welcome guests to An Evening of Presto Films at the Showcase Cinema Southampton. The evening began with guests gathering in the foyer for photographs, networking, and conversations with the many industry professionals in attendance. Guests were then invited into the 125-seat cinema, where Evan Preston opened the evening and welcomed Councillor Pat Evemy, the newly elected mayor, to the stage. She delivered a wonderful toast celebrating Presto Films and our mission to create films that entertain audiences, subvert expectations, and provoke conversation, while bringing more filmmaking opportunities to the South Coast of England. The Purple Cow Film Network was also recognised for its continued support of the local creative community. The films screened during the evening were Demon in the Bottle, Suong, and the world premiere of Dancing with Death. Presto Films also announced its upcoming debut feature project, Inked, with guests receiving an exclusive first look at the trailer. The evening was a fantastic celebration of independent filmmaking and brought together an inspiring creative energy from across the industry. Images upscaled for 4K quality - Thank you to @ellie_kinghorn for taking these photos 📷
