🚨 FORM FRIDAY: SAFETY SQUAT BAR 🚨

Seen this slightly unusual-looking bar in the gym and wondered what makes it different from a regular barbell? 👀

Meet the Safety Squat Bar, a brilliant alternative to traditional barbell squats that can help you build lower-body strength while changing how the weight is positioned.

So, why use it? 👇

💪 More comfortable shoulder position – The padded design and forward-facing handles mean you don't need to reach behind you to grip the bar.

🦵 Build stronger quads & glutes – The bar's design can encourage a more upright squat and challenge your lower body differently.

🏋️ Challenge your upper back & core – The position of the load creates an additional challenge for your trunk and upper-back muscles.

🔥 Add variety to your training – A great way to change the stimulus without completely changing the exercise.

A few technique tips:

✅ Position the pads comfortably across your upper back and shoulders.
✅ Keep your core braced throughout the movement.
✅ Maintain pressure through your whole foot.
✅ Lower with control and drive back up.
✅ Keep the handles steady rather than pulling them aggressively down.

The Safety Squat Bar isn't necessarily easier than a regular barbell, just different!

Save this one and give it a try next leg day. 💪

Silo S3. A special one for sooo many reasons.
An amazing cast, the best AD team ever, the most fun and hardworking crew. It’s the best atmosphere on a set I’ve ever encountered. I’m so grateful to have been a small part of it.

My son, Nuri, was born during the shoot, and when I came back after my paternity leave, I had the opportunity to step up and 1st AD Episode 6 with director Alrick Riley, guided by @jonmidlane @andy.pearson.127 & @tonistaples1ad

‘SILO’ SEASON 3 🔦⛏️⛓️⌛️ airs today on Apple TV 💫

I thought it would be fun to share some BTS of my time on season 3. It was roughly 9 months making this season, living in London and away from home. I really put so much of my heart and soul into each day with the team. I’m grateful for everyone I got to work with and how we made it through together as a family. The best bloody group of legends. These pictures really give me a giggle and bring back so many memories of 2024 /25. The VERY early starts and the very late nights working , filming, surviving lol. Sounds stupid but it really was a beast of a job!

I hope everyone enjoys this season, thank your for your patience lol and I’m really proud of my hard work behind the scenes! ♥️

Sorry did I say salads… I mean the most delicious pastries…. Like omg tie the pastry bag to my head and I’ll shove them down quicker then you can say bonjour babe.

I was in Paris, what do you expect.

While I was conscious of the food I was eating, I was also not letting myself miss out on gorgeous food from my trips to both Amsterdam and Paris. And you shouldn’t too!

Obviously make sure your eating the veggies, chucking the protein on where you can and keeping the H2O coming in, but it’s so important to also try and be conscious of living in the moment and eating la croissants.

Anyway, happy weekend yal and enjoy my many pictures of top draw scran.

Mad luv yal
