Geri’s Yoga Teacher Training journey | Part One 💛

We absolutely loved having Geri join us for our Yoga Teacher Training, and we’re now lucky enough to have her as part of our Light Space teaching team!

In Part One, Geri shares a little about her experience, what she loved and what the journey meant to her.

Stay tuned for Part Two! ✨

We have a few new faces at the studios, and Geri is one of them! Geri joins our yoga teaching team (after completing our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2025!) and we're so excited to have her. Here's a little more about Geri...

Every yoga teacher was once (and still is!) a student.

Grace first welcomed Geri onto the mat at LSY as a student in one of her classes. Years later, Geri followed her passion, completed our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, and now teaches alongside the very people who inspired her. This is one of our favourite things about our Yoga Teacher Training. It's not just about learning to teach or learn more about your own practice - it's about growing, building lifelong friendships, and becoming part of a community that continues to inspire you long after the course is over.

A beautiful reminder that we're often far more capable than we give ourselves credit for. Sometimes all it takes is someone who believes in you... and the courage to begin 💛

So grateful for this wonderful crew of teachers (and those that are missing). Wonderful chats with the best people!

Welcome to the Kozen teaching team Geri! Geri is yoga and an accredited mindfulness meditation teacher who pivoted (in a complete 180 degrees kind of way!) from a career as a corporate lawyer. Which was lucky for us, as we now get to have her natural warmth and grounded teaching style each week at Kozen.

You can find Geri taking Gentle Flow on Thursday nights as of late October. We are so thrilled to have you join us Geri!

Yoga, pilates, strength training, for every age, meeting you where you’re at. Our classes range from people aged 28 to 70+, guided by instructors who are highly skilled at meeting every level in the room.

There’s so much noise out there about what health and fitness is supposed to look like.

For us it’s less about pushing harder and more about prioritising the things that actually improve how you show up in your life!

Come join us at Be Well, 6 Roche Street, Hawthorn.
