FAR AWAY EP1: THREE GORGES⛰️

Rolled out from North Sydney towards Hornsby before taking on one of Sydney’s most iconic and demanding routes. A quintessential Sydney ride, and definitely a meaty one.

Three gorge crossings: Berowra Waters, Galston Gorge and Bobbin Head. Each serving up fast, stunning descents followed by relentless climbs straight back out. Galston was particularly spicy, with gradients kicking up beyond 15%.

With around 2,000m of elevation, barely a flat road to recover on, and much of the climbing stacked into the second half, this was one to test the legs.

Big climbs, tired legs and good company. Exactly what we came for.

Solid first adventure in the books. Keep it locked for another one next week!

Find and join our rides via the link in our bio or on the @trainwithpacer app.

See you on the road.

I have many unanswered DMs, because I am trying to limit my exposure to memes, but it would be unfair for me to limit all of your collective exposure to the most powerful thing in existence.

My life.

Vale of Belvoir Road Race 2/3/4💨💙

I signed up early in the season on the basis that the course would be flatter, but the cheeky rascals decided to make it hillier this year😡

Good to see @seanwilliams_____ come second, and always a pleasure to talk nonsense with @harryodling

Wrapping up the Hillingdon season on a weird high

I started as a cat 4 with no affiliation, and ended as a cat 2 clinging on for dear life in the E123 race as a @gftl.cc rider

It’s been mad fun, I’ve regained a love for riding and made a load of new friends. Racing is the best.

If you ride a bike, try racing, you won’t regret it💨💙
