POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

2025, you asked me to grow and I did.

This year asked me to juggle, stretch, pause, and trust. Between building my business, navigating my health, and stepping into new professional spaces, I learned that rest is just as important as grind. I learned when to slow down instead of push through.

It wasn’t always easy. There were tears, pauses, and lessons I didn’t ask for, but there was also travel, laughter, family, celebration, and expansion. Proof that God will always remain faithful.

I relearned the power of showing up as myself. Posting myself again, owning my presence, and trusting that visibility creates opportunity. I’ll never forget when I met Imani for the first time and she encouraged me to do so, that little reminder changed everything for me: Thank you for that @imanilobeauty 🤍

To every bride and client who chose me this year: thank you for trusting me with your moments. I don’t take it lightly. You made this year what it was.

2024 watered the seeds.
2025 showed me what can grow.
And for 2026 here’s to growth that doesn’t rush, joy that doesn’t wait, and seeds that continue to bloom ✨#beatbyghanadiva #2025wrapped #dmvmua

To be great, yes you can know what you want but you must be willing to listen. I was so blessed to be in the presence of greatness and surrounded by a producer that pushed me not only vocally but gave solid direction and knows what it takes to take things to the next level. Matt @automatticsound, thank you so much for working with me and all of the amazing things that took place while we were working on my first album. I am so excited for you guys to hear my new 11 track album, and first full body of work Becoming: A Virtuous Woman. Thank you Jesus for a beautiful gift and reminding me that this gift is not for me for but others that need it❤️

When God says leave, act, or move…you listen.

At the top of this year, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life and walked away from something I had prayed for, simply because I felt God calling me elsewhere. I didn’t know what was next but I had a feeling that obedience was better than comfort.

Then came the Unica Bridal Show. This opportunity fell into my life in a way only God could orchestrate. It reminded me that He sees all, and His thoughts are truly higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

I had been praying for a space to grow in my business, and not only did I find it, I met the most inspiring creatives and beautiful souls along the way. I’m beyond grateful to @ruthieshaircafe @ruthlarbi_ for seeing something in me and trusting me with this platform. I do not take it lightly.

To every makeup artist, hairstylist, or creative in a waiting season, don’t give up. Keep showing up, keep working, keep believing. The right people will find you and most importantly God will place you where you’re meant to be.

✨ “Your gift will make room for you, and bring you before great people.” – Proverbs 18:16 ✨

✨Meet the Munnlyn’s✨
-
Our journey didn’t start with the idea of having a big family, but life had other plans for us. Each addition to our family has brought so much joy, laughter, and love, turning our home into a vibrant haven. While it may not have been what we envisioned, we are incredibly blessed and grateful for the beautiful chaos and countless memories we share. Our hearts are full, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We love sharing moments from our family’s journey with all of you! What would you like to see more of from us? Family activities, parenting tips, behind-the-scenes fun, or something else? Let us know in the comments—we’re excited to hear your ideas!

Today’s BAC Black Girl Magic post features Emmanuela Esumanmba-Andoh (B.S. Criminology, Law, and Society ‘22)

Emmanuela gives back to her community through her talents and collaboration with others. Throughout her college career, service was always an area of importance for her and she wanted to continue that after graduating.

In the winter of 2022, Emmanuela and three other amazing creatives came together to form the Princess Project, a nonprofit organization that prioritizes giving back to young black girls through inspiration, mentorship, and service.

The organization’s last project gave five girls from the ages of 5-10 a free photoshoot, a shadowing session of their dream job, and a workshop dedicated to instilling confidence and kindness. The Princess Project’s founders hope their program continues to expand and allow them to touch more young black girls and create memories they will always cherish.

When asked why it is important to give back, here is what Emmanuela had to say: “Giving back is important to me because my community has intentionally poured into me. An Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., led initiative, Emerging Young Leaders, helped me develop my skills and talents in middle school to aid me in becoming a leader. George Mason’s Early Identification Program provided the resources I needed as a first generation to succeed and graduate with a bachelor’s degree. Both programs shaped me into the woman I am today. They both instilled in me the importance of using our knowledge and experiences to help mold the younger generation into the future leaders of tomorrow. It’s our responsibility to create the opportunities for our community that aren’t often awarded to us.”

Be sure to follow @ghana_divaaa and @theprincessprojectdmv to learn more about their upcoming service project for the prom season.
