forever, now. 🤍

a few from last week seeing @switchfoot - there are few words that seem to properly describe how much this band, these songs, and these guys mean to me. but i am truly so grateful.

(more to come, pardon me while i am insufferable posting too many photos)

well i’m coming to the end of ‘23

this was one of the happiest and also one of the hardest years of my life. both joy and sadness holding hands. i struggled heavily with depression, dissociation, and fighting to still believe in myself and my dreams. i woke up everyday and chose to fight for myself. against the backdrop of voices in my head telling me that i wasn’t good enough or that i didn’t deserve a good life. i am still a work in progress, but even still. i deserve happiness and laughter and love. i deserve a good life. and one that i am proud to live. and you do too. that is the biggest lesson i learned this year. do not live life only to please and make other people happy. because you will make yourself miserable in the end. your life is your own. and it is too short to be unhappy.

this video sums up all the little moments that brought me joy this year. music, friends, and traveling. these are the things that breathe life into me. the love from my friends, the ability to see such beautiful places, and the songs that bring me back to myself. i don’t know who or where i would be without it. it truly keeps me alive.

i don’t know what my life or what the future looks like, but all i know is that in the end it will all end up being okay. because somehow, it always does.

sending so much love to you

here’s to 2024 ❤️

These songs of hope remind me that one day there will be no more heartache, only laughter. Until that day comes, we can bring Heaven to earth by singing these truths together.

“I still believe we can live forever. You and I, we begin forever now.”

Thank you @switchfoot for not letting other people tell you what your dreams should be. The world is better for it. Your music shines so brightly in my life 🩵
