🌲💚 Some glamour shots of a couple local junipers here in Northern New Mexico at Ghost Ranch 💚🌲

I love meeting the juniper trees wherever I go and smelling their varied (but all delightful) scents and tasting the berries! The first pic shows the tiny male cones and the second some lovely berries (actually the fleshy female cones in botanical nerd terms).

My favorite ways to work with juniper leaves are to create smoke bundles and make a warming infused oil for sore muscles and joints. If you’d like to learn more about these prolific and beautiful trees, I hope you’ll join my next Juniper Magic class at @thecharmadillo in Center Point, TX on Nov 8th! Details and tix in my bio and at whitedeerapothecary dot com.

From the Ghost Ranch sketchbook: sketching my meals, whether memorable or ordinary, makes me happy. This is the left side of a two-page spread. #foodsketch #ghostranch #travelsketchbook

From the Ghost Ranch sketchbook. From the looks of this page, you’d think I did nothing but eat while I was there. I did not go hungry. #ghostranch #sketching #sketchbook

I used to think I was creating many things. Turns out it’s all the same prayer.

Here are a few of the ways I’m praying it into being this season that make my heart SING + are designed to spark yours

From the high desert of Ghost Ranch to the yoga festival floor to a Samhain sojourn into the Underworld (including one atop a grave—your own 💀).

And equally life-giving, in private Intensives + around the Fire of Transformation®, mentoring visionaries in the building, being & stewardship of their own bodies of work ❤️‍🔥

Different expressions, the same devotion

The same body of work I’ve spent years living, teaching, building & becoming myself

With a reminder that your body of work doesn’t have to fit neatly into a single offer, discipline or category to be wildly ALIVE + straight up kaleidoscopic

It’s the devotion that makes it so.

Right now, there are a few ways to be uplit by mine:

🏜️ Supernatural Sutras™ at Ghost Ranch
A wintery solstice divine descent with me in the high desert this Dec 4-6

🔥 Dirty South Yoga Fest Oct 17 Atlanta GA
Activate the Alchemy of Connection

🐍 SHAPESHIFT Four, now three, private 1:1 Samhain-season sojourns. One cemetery-situated on Samhain IRL in Atlanta GA (I’m obsessed with this with you)

And for the visionaries stewarding a vibrant body of work whose next expression claws to be unleashed, my private Intensives + Fire of Transformation® mastermind

DM me for the doorway to descent, that’s also aliveness, and embodiment, and building, and being

Turns out it’s ALL the same prayer 🔥

A little art history, a little desert magic. 🎨🌵

If you’re planning a trip to New Mexico, put Ghost Ranch on your list.

Located in Abiquiú, this incredible landscape was a longtime home and creative inspiration for Georgia O’Keeffe. And while the scenery alone is worth the trip, there’s so much more to explore, from the ranch’s history and museums to its hiking trails.

As someone who loves a good museum AND a good landscape, this place was basically made for me.

Save this for your next New Mexico road trip!

🔥 Georgia O’Keeffe: total badass!
A sublime visit to her house and studio in Abiquiu. I’m still not totally sold on the art, but her fearlessness—and her wildly gorgeous approach to where and how she lived—are undeniable.
🔥 Santa Fe history = mind-blowing.
Loved meeting Andrea Fisher and lunching at her remarkable historic home, built around 1350 AD. Yes, before Columbus.
🔥 The Willa Hotel = wow.
In Taos, completely blown away by the vibe and design of this beautifully restored former motel. Major kudos to Casetta Group and Electric Bowery for making adaptive reuse look this good.
Huge thanks to Karen (and Ryn) for an extraordinary week with @adventuresinart . ❤️
And now… from 1350 AD to the future. 🇨🇳✈️ Off to China next week for a tech + innovation adventure. Big thanks to @tcsworldtravel and @pabmiami for getting me organized for that epic trip.
