POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last weekend I had the pleasure of being involved in the Roots & Culture, Rhythym & Rhymes Black History Month Showcase. If I could use five words to describe the experience i'd say, Empowering, Refreshing, Reflective, Impactful and Inspiring. Black is soo beautiful and i'm proud to be a black woman.

It was an amazing event, big shoutout to @rochelleloro for all the hard work that went into the event and amazing performances. A brilliant writer and poet. She has a poetry book available on Amazon. Link is in her bio GO GET IT! ✨️🔥

It was lovely hearing from Uma Kumaran, the MP of Stratford and Bow and seeing her passion and support for the event.

Grateful to @essiebmusic for reaching out to me about this event and performing our song 'Power', i'm glad I said yes. Well done to all of the other amazing performers, artists and organisations involved. @gideon_twothree, @real_ruthk @pjgreaves, Michael A. Campbell and @raffa.worldwide 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Matthew was a wonderful host, perfect for the job! And Dania and @debrahigbinedion and others behind the scenes were great at helping and sorting things out. It all came together very well.

It was nice to reconnect with people and make new connections and possibly new friendships.

I'm looking forward to the next event. 😁

So proud of this one today. Did his eye test with actual letters instead of pictures and most of the letter sounds he made were really clear and clear enough that the optician could understand. The couple that were a bit unclear he signed alongside so we knew what he was saying!

I keep encountering doves 🕊️ and it doesn’t feel like coincidence. God uses signs like this as gentle reminders that He is near. What amazes me even more is that our FIRST LOVE ENCOUNTER event on the 12th literally has two doves on the flyer. You truly can’t make this up 😭

I can’t help thinking about the dove that returned to Noah with an olive leaf, announcing new life and dry ground. And we know the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus like a dove before He was led into the wilderness. Even the bride in Song of Songs is described as a dove:

“But my dove, my perfect one, is unique…”
— Song of Solomon 6:9

I believe the Lord is calling us into purification — to become like a dove: gentle, steadfast, and determined to follow Him wherever He leads.

I truly believe there will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and God’s love on the 12th of this month. Come expectant. Come hungry. See the flyer for details.

““Who are these who soar like clouds, flying like doves into their portals?”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭8‬ ‭

His presence makes a difference.
These worshippers came together to worship the only true God.Some of them worshipped the very first time together. It was beautiful to see.
Woolwich and the UK will not be the same again in Jesus name.
Lives were saved as a result and we give God the glory. 😭

We were kindly invited for a meal at the recently opened @orleanssmokehouse_uppernorwood restaurant. Ever since we sampled some of their menu at the launch event we’ve been looking forward to going for a meal. We had brunch and the food was delicious. The kids keep asking if we can go back as they loved the sausage muffins. They were kept well entertained with the colouring, popcorn and a movie room!

Highly recommend!
