#LesAmis has long been one of my fav restaurants so I was delighted that it received its 3rd Michelin star last month! It was also the perfect venue for a lunchtime friends' catchup and work meeting but that became an almost four hour feast! When you're savouring wonderful food and enjoying great company, the time just flies. Plus, when the chef is very generously sending out additional complimentary dishes for us to try, the three-course meal eventually becomes a seven-course one! Thank-you, @iampaigeparker for the lovely treat and Chef @chef_sebastien_lepinoy for the wonderful additions to an already amazing meal! And big congratulations on your third Michelin-star! The whole pear tart just for our table was the perfect ending to the banquet!

Throwback Thursday:
Great memory from exactly four years ago today—meeting legendary musician and producer Randy Jackson in Singapore, at the home of then-American Ambassador Kirk Wager. The Dawg spotted my shoes and recognized them as Jeffery West and showed me his own pair. We bonded over shoe passion. It was just one of the many fabulous parties at Eagle Crest, the US Ambassador's home. Thanks for so many great memories, @ambwagar !

Oh what a glittering night! Fittingly for the premiere in the city where the movie is set, tonight's gala screening of Crazy Rich Asians saw many of the island's real-life high-society show up alongside the movie's director, John M. Chu and stars Henry Golding, Pierre Png, Janice Koh, Tan Kheng Hua, Koh Chieng Mun, Fiona Xie, and Selena Tan. It was so surreal to see the familiar sights of our country and the familiar faces of friends starring in a Hollywood hit movie but also, oh so wonderful! #crazyrichasians #singapore #CRA #constancewu #henrygolding #pierrepng #gemmachan #crazyrichasiansmovie #tankhenghua #kohchiengmun #janicekoh

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra's annual fundraising gala has long been one of the highlights of the charity balls, and for good reason. Wonderful performances from the orchestra and its singers, terrific food, fun themes and a great mix of Singapore's art and cultural patrons and fans of the symphony all add up into a memorable, magical evening. And amidst all the fun, reverie and glamour, this year's gala also met its goal of raising over $1 million! Kudos and congratulations to the organising committee, the SSO Ladies' League, Odile Benjamin, Maisy Koh, Judy Hunt, Paige Parker and all the performers, on a wonderful evening! 🎶🎵🎼

Happy Birthday Jim Rogers! What a fun and fab surprise party it was last night when we gathered at Capital to celebrate Jim's 75th Birthday. Friends all followed the pink theme, arriving in every possible shade of the colour, from dusty rose to vivid fuschia, and yelled out "Surprise!" when he walked into the room, alongside daughter Happy and wife, Paige, who had engineered the whole thing. And surprised he was, which is not an easy thing to pull on a savvy guy like Jim! In recognition of the couple's Southern heritage, there was a Bourbon bar and delicious Southern food on hand. It was a wonderful party, as warm, relaxed and fun as the fab Rogers family. Happy Birthday Jim! 💖

At the opening party of LV's Time Capsule pop-up store last night at Ion Orchard with two Singapore athletes-turned-actors/hosts: @chaseetan and @russong. These guys have class and style and it's inspirational to see how they've transited from sports to entertainment and created successful second careers. #lvsingapore #athletes #singaporeathletes #basketballplayer #swimmer #singaporeactor #secondcareer #chasetan #russellong

So nice to see Shaun yesterday. Through all the years I've known him, he's been one of the nicest, most genuine and friendly persons. He's someone who's met and overcome many challenges and hardships on the road to stardom, and has really earned and well-deserves his success.#respect #shaunchen #mediacorpartiste @shaunchenhongyu
