Some reality for you…

My feed is currently full of people who achieved incredible results at Berlin, and whilst I am so unbelievably happy for them (genuinely you are all SO inspiring), I wanted to share this clip to show that not all races look like that. I felt embarrassed about sharing this but it’s simply reality.

I was hanging on for dear life knowing I’d see Josh at 37km and instantly burst into tears when I got to him. He ran with me for 2km and it genuinely saved me. Big thanks to the lovely people near by also cheering me on. I always feel so bad not responding but I am so grateful for the kindness.

I struggled from about 25km and didn’t take in the atmosphere as much as I’d liked to but that’s just how it goes sometimes. Still an incredible experience, thank you Berlin ♥️
