Today we want to take a moment to honor all that serve in our military. We appreciate your important role in our community and our country. #ArmedForcesDay

Pictured here is Wisconsin ambassador, @ginapaige1, who says of her service: "It will teach you to grow up quickly. It's an opportunity to become independent, learn about yourself, explore the world: and meet a lot of cool people along the way. The sense of community and pride is really cool."

As we celebrate and recognize veterans this month, we'd like to take a moment to highlight a veteran from our own community, ambassador Gina Chiaverotti-Paige @ginapaige1

Gina and her husband both served in the Air Force; she traveled the world as a photographer to capture images from daily life in the military. Throughout her journey, she has always been proud to serve the country and enjoyed the unique challenges that military life presented.

Gina was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at age 31. Though she had her thyroid removed, her treatment was successful, and she has been in remission for five years. Since that time, she's reconnected with her love of physical activity and fell in love with cycling. Her goal is to complete several long rides next year and to continue connecting with other women in the cycling community.

Read her story with our link in bio.
