Such a lovely evening at Gingie with Sangtae! Really enjoyed Chef Brian’s creative and thoughtful cooking. The mushroom, tofu & rice dish was a favorite. Loved the textures, the creative use of ingredients, and how beautifully the flavors came together. Thank you, Chef Brian and the entire Gingie team, for a wonderful evening!

Date night perfection in River North ✨ If you’re looking for a spot to impress on your next date night or celebrate a special occasion, Gingie needs to be on your list! 🥂 Part of Boka Restaurant Group, this contemporary River North restaurant brings together seasonal ingredients, classical techniques, and global influences for a dining experience that feels both elevated and exciting. The vibes? Immaculate. The service? Fantastic. And the food? So good! 🤌🏼 The biggest surprise of the night was the black pepper tofu rice, which might have been my favorite dish of the entire meal, and I definitely wasn’t expecting that! 🍚 Between the stunning atmosphere, creative menu, and attentive service, Gingie checks all the boxes for a memorable night out 💥 📍@gingiechicago | River North • • • #servingupchicago #gingiechicago #bokarestaurantgroup #rivernorthchicago #chicagodatenight

📍Gingie - River North, Chicago Ok ppl I’m out of hibernation I haven’t posted on here since August but we’re back. Gingie was indeed that girl. I wanted to come here when it originally opened in March but they closed after only a few days bc of a kitchen fire which was so upsetting. So glad they were able to get back on their feet bc it truly is such a good addition to Chicago. The interiors were cozy and intriguing I absolutely loved the space. Perfect for an occasion in the winter. And the food was nothing short of spectacular. What we got: 🥩NY Strip with Ricotta dumpling ⭐️ 🍝Tortelloni. This was so fun to say lol. Also delish 🍣Rock Shrimp make your own handroll. Love a make ur own handroll situation ⭐️ 🍣Dungeness crab make your own handroll 🐟Spicy Tuna Dip 🍚Black Pepper Tofu Rice 🍸Gingie Martini & Currant Cucumber Spritz ****NOT PICTURED the chocolate tart was LEGIT INSANE it was actually so delicious. a must get Overall a fab experience and I will be back. ily gingie also hi Arielle miss you
