Today, we’re giving Chanel Jack, Founder of Girl Code Girls, her flowers for having our girls’ backs. 💐

During their Girl Code session, Chanel helped our girls think intentionally about the friendships and community they want around them. Together, they identified the qualities they value in healthy relationships and created their own “Girl Code” rules and standards to guide how they show up for themselves and one another.

Because sometimes having a girl’s back means helping her recognize who should be in her corner—and what she deserves from the people around her. 💜

Thank you, Chanel and Girl Code Girls, for creating a space for our girls to talk, reflect, and define their standards.

That’s exactly what “She’s Got My Back” is all about.

Join us on October 24 as we celebrate the women and community who continue to show up for one another.

If you had told the girl who began advocating before she even had the words—the one who studied sociology and criminal justice, participated in countless walkouts and sit-ins, penned letters to organizational leaders in the fight for equity, and has a panther tattooed on her arm- that she would one day meet a modern-day advocate and leader who inspired so much of her journey, she would have never believed you.

Thank you, #ColinKaepernick, for everything. Your sacrifice, immeasurable.

Watching Noelle step into her pre-teen years has been one of my greatest joys 🥹🩷🌎.

This summer has been filled with opportunities to pour into her, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From Girl Code with Chanel Jack and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, to the Love Yourself Summit, and next week’s Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Boss: Princess Edition with Shawna Shepherd… my girl is BOOKED and BUSY 👑✨🫶🏾.

As her mom, I’m committed to being intentional about surrounding her with mentors, positive influences, and spaces that remind her who she is, whose she is, and all she’s capable of becoming 🤞🏾🩷.

The conversations she’s been having about confidence, leadership, healthy relationships, purpose, and self-worth are exactly the kind of foundation I want her to build on. These experiences matter, and I’m so proud of the young lady she’s becoming ✨!

A huge thank you to Chanel Jack, everyone behind the Love Yourself Summit, and Shawna Shepherd for creating spaces where our girls can grow, learn, and thrive. Y’all are making a difference, and I truly appreciate it!

Happy Birthday to our incredible founder, Ezinne Okoro! ✨🎉

Today we celebrate the heart and vision behind The Good Mother Foundation. Your dedication to empowering children and your passion for seeing every child reach their highest potential continue to inspire us daily.

Thank you for leading with grace, compassion, and unwavering commitment. We are so grateful for your leadership and the impact you are making in countless lives.

This year, her birthday wish is simple but powerful: for more children to win through education. 📚✨ Instead of gifts, she’s asking for donations to support scholarships and resources that change lives.

Join us in honoring her by giving the gift of education today.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”- Mahatama Gandhi

“Research shows volunteering and charitable giving can lead to a 44% lower risk of mortality, reduced stress and inflammation, and improved self-esteem. Studies also link giving to lower rates of anxiety and depression, better physical health, improved social connections, and a greater sense of purpose and overall life satisfaction.“
