I purchased this set back in June or July but I've only been able to wear it now(September lol)!
I'm only wearing metamorphose on these pics I can't believe it 🙈
We wore it as a triplet with Manon and Gaia 🖤🖤 it was really fun to wear the same op as 3 people hehe
It was the same day as the Harajuku fashion walk but I'm not a fan of too crowded events in the center of Paris so we had fun the 3 of us 🥰

Gosh, I really love this dress… this OP by @metamorphosetempsdefille is fully shirred, which is so lovely! (´꒳`)♡ After a long week of work, I just don’t have the energy to wear Lolita lately… To be honest, it makes me a little sad. You’ve probably noticed I haven’t even found time to post on social media (；ω；) It’s so hard to keep up, but it’s okay !! I’ll wait for the summer holidays… lol

Anyway, as I said, I’ve been too tired to wear my more elaborate or delicate clothes. Recently, all I want is to be comfortable! This dress is perfect for that~ ♡ I also own it in white, which is made entirely of cotton, but this pink version is a polycotton blend. I hesitated to buy it at first, but my bf told me that this fabric doesn’t wrinkle easily, which is amazing for someone as busy (and tired) as me (｡•́︿•̀｡)

I really hope I can find more time for social media soon… maybe once life slows down a little lol (˶ᵔᵕᵔ˶)

🔔 writing/performance post

This year I’ve been incredibly fortunate to develop a practice at the crossroads of fiction, critique, and performance through two commissioned works by @monafilleul and @estherfranki for their curatorial projects.

On both occasions, I was invited to write and perform new texts responding to existing works, as interpretations, extensions, or personal funnels. The goal was to propose a format that echoes the original piece and offers resonance beyond the usual exhibition text.

For Mona Filleul’s “Air de Tranny” exhibition at @airdeparis , I had the pleasure of writing a fictional piece inspired by her work as well as that of the other artists. Titled Grosse Balade, it tells the story of a procession where a group of girls carry an undefined object, reflecting on Mona’s worldbuilding work and on the exhibition’s potential as a shared community moment while playing around with sacred transness’ lexicon.

Commissioned by Esther Carlin for the first occurrence of her transnational program @speakingfromtheieye , I wrote and performed a piece called “Residency: the Musical!” in response to @jimmynuttall movies “Cococonstance” (2023) and “Fabulina” (2019). In a Musical-focused residency for art school graduates, two dazzling but elusive participants vanish without explanation. Where have they gone ?

It was a delight everytime and I’m very open to working on similar propositions, as wall as crazier commissions or more classical exhibition texts. Also available for artists bios and all that in both ENG and FR 🪄

Mona is an iconophile, one of those people who venerate images and try to save them from their certain destruction. She learned to paint by looking at the canvases of expressionist painter Paula Modersohn-Becker and the symbolist Mikhail Vroubel, which she ended up mixing with manga and memes in her own syncretic forms. In her cathedral-less city, the bas-reliefs on insulation panels that adorn her structures seem to surround her images with a halo of sacredness: friends become angels, Instagram stories are transformed into reliquaries, and tracks become hymns... She tells me that she wants to celebrate those who have been excluded from representation, to canonise her community with the saintliness that it has long been denied.

Air de Paris est une galerie référente de la scène artistique contemporaine.

Fondée il y a plus de 30 ans, elle a « traversé » le périphérique parisien pour s’installer à Romainville, en Seine-Saint-Denis, sur le site de la Fondation Fiminco, au sein du collectif Komunuma.

À l’occasion de l’événement Paris Gallery Weekend, elle a donné carte blanche à l’artiste Mona Filleul.

Whart, partenaire média de l’événement, a rencontré Kateryna Kaminska, Gallery Manager.

Welcome to Air de Tranny! When I look around, I start to think that Mona Filleul has built a city here. In Mona’s city, although there’s no places to go shopping, no business district or luxury hotels, there’s a metal verticality that recalls that of #skyscrapers steel frames - their shine, their coldness, their texture and their angles. I can’t quite make out my reflection in the facades of these buildings, but I’m sure that I can glimpse something of our western capital cities, of their ambiguities, perhaps something of their rigidity, too.
Mona takes us with her through these stripped back walls to show us what’s going on within. She marks out zones and thresholds, and builds an architecture that’s at once narrative and sentimental, emptying out all the things that usually stay hidden. She even recreates the sky.
