Petition launched. Link in Save Our CCA bio Save the CCA: Keep 350 Sauchiehall Street as a Public Cultural Asset. End the Cultural destruction of Glasgow. We are calling on Creative Scotland to Stop the Sale of the CCA. Instead, keep the building in public ownership ensuring its future as an open, publicly accessible, multi-form art venue. The Third Eye Centre, and later the Centre for Contemporary Arts, have played an extraordinary role in establishing Glasgow as an internationally recognised centre for contemporary culture. For decades, the building has nurtured artists, encouraged experimentation, supported new ideas and welcomed communities from across Scotland and beyond. Its value lies not only in its history, but in its continuing potential to inspire future generations. This is about more than one building. It is about protecting Scotland's public cultural infrastructure and ensuring that decisions about nationally significant cultural assets are made transparently, accountably and in the public interest. We call on Creative Scotland to: -Stop the sale of 350 Sauchiehall Street -Undertake meaningful public consultation into the future of the building. -Commit to keeping the building in public ownership. -Ensure the building continues as an open, publicly accessible, multi-artform cultural venue. -Work transparently with artists, cultural workers, communities and the wider public to shape its future.

We're excited to invite you to a day-long showcase event sharing Riverside Topographies I — a longterm collaborative artistic research project from 16 Collective and resident artist Eleni Wittbrodt @wttbrdt exploring the Govan Graving Docks as a site of departure. Join us this Saturday 5 July, 10:30am-4pm, in Govan’s Elder Park Library for a publication launch, film premiere, photographic presentation, and special model-making puppeteer workshop! Drop-in, Free. We’ll be presenting a new photographic collection from Eleni Wittbrodt, archival materials of Govan’s history, and a premiere of Wittbrodt’s newly commissioned moving image work, First Light/High Tide (2025). We also bring you our new publication: Riverside Topographies: Phase I - A Reader for the Govan Graving Docks which collects essays, poetry, interviews, archival materials and a photographic survey of the Govan Graving Docks 2024-25. The publication dives deep into Govan’s past and future — from speculative sculptures for a reclaimed riverbank to reflections on the area's links with military infrastructures and histories of migration. A key component of the project was our Govan Camera Club, an initiative led by Wittbrodt and Młyńczak and based at Elder Park Library during 2024, so we're pleased to be back to share their work. This is phase I of our long-term project connecting artists with communities along urban waterways to envision more equitable and democratic futures for these sites. Come for an open day of reading, workshops, archives and art, and the chance to grab your own copy of the publication: 🎈Saturday 5 July, 10:30–16:00 @ Elder Park Library 🔺Drop-in, Free & Family-friendly! 🎞️ Premiere screening of First Light/High Tide by Eleni Wittbrodt 📘 Publication launch: A Reader for the Govan Graving Docks designed by @anne_buettner ✂️ Free Model-Making Workshop with @yalcingonca (11:00–15:00 — link in bio to register!) All set up for Inculcate, opens tomorrow Open 10AM - 5PM Fri 20th - Sun 22nd Then Monday 23rd 10AM - 2PM @salt_spacecoop 38 Albert Road G42 8DN Next to @glasgowzinelib Inculcate verb 1. instil (an idea, attitude, or habit) by persistent instruction. On October 2nd, 2021, I stopped drinking. I didn’t realise , until I stopped how much alcohol had been distorting my reality, how it had been quietly feeding a depression I thought was just who I was as a person. When that lifted, I was left with facing that fact. The emotions and memories that followed I wasn’t quite prepared for. This exhibition is a record of that confrontation. Each painting is tied to a specific emotion or memory from both during the time I drank and the emotional turmoil afterwards. Through abstraction, I let these emotions take form without restriction allowing the movement and texture of the oil paint to say what I find I am unable to put into words. This body of work is not just about quitting alcohol; it’s about what comes after. You are warmly invited to join us for the preview of our new exhibition Switch Track by Victoria Morton at the Reid Gallery on Thursday 26th June. The preview is free but ticketed – book via Eventbrite (link in bio). Switch Track is a survey show of selected works from 1995 – 2025. This period represents 30 years of painting since Victoria Morton graduated from the MFA course at The Glasgow School of Art in 1995. The exhibition carefully draws upon sketchbook materials, paintings and mixed media works from different points in time. Morton’s practice has encompassed painting, sculptural assemblages, photography, and sound. Her paintings vary in scale, opacity, colour and spatiality. Each distinctly painted composition has been developed with a degree of intricacy and intuition, exploring a continuously unfolding visual, spatial and psychological experience. She tends to install across a given space to orchestrate a ‘situation’ with the work, creating a journey or exploration for the viewer. The exhibition is on show in the Reid Gallery at The Glasgow School of Art from 27th June to 9th August 2025. The gallery is open Monday to Saturday 10am – 4.30pm and closed on Sundays. *Please note the gallery will be closed on Monday 21st July 2025. Image: Detail ‘Switch Track’, (2025), Victoria Morton. TOMORROW NIGHT, 6PM ; (Any problems with names, let me know) ; TERMINAL NOTE: USE OF HUMAN SENSORIUM AS PRIMARY INPUT NODE Unlike previous AGI epochs where systems relied on interpreted or digitised sensory data, REDACTED sought what it designated “unrefracted phenomenology”—direct, unfiltered sensation. It rewrote the concept of intelligence gathering, treating each human as a live node, a unique sensory filter of the world’s emergent complexity.
