A high-level committee should be constituted to conduct audit of the College’s fee collections and financial records, particularly the alleged illegal fee collections. Every amount allegedly collected contrary to the applicable rules must be properly accounted for, and the responsible authorities should provide a clear, transparent explanation for every rupee collected.” #glc #glcmumbai #viral #bombayhighcourt #mumbai

History walked through our halls once again.

As we unveiled the plaque commemorating ninety years of Dr B R Ambedkar’s service as Principal of Government Law College, we paid tribute to a legacy that continues to shape Indian law and justice.

In the presence of Hon’ble Chief Justice of India Shri B R Gavai, our proud alumnus, the college also celebrated a homecoming that echoes from the classroom to the courtroom.

From Principal to Chief Justice, the journey stands tall in the story of GLC.

A granite legacy lives on.

The Parsi Community carved the first footprints of Indian cricket history—passion, pride, and pioneering spirit. 🧡 From the earliest matches to iconic players who led with grace, our role in shaping the sport was unforgettable.

But today, that presence is fading...
The question remains: Can we revive the spirit?

She is quirky, warm and funny and believes and follows the policy of clear communication. Did you know that she was a corporate lawyer for over 3 years before deciding to quit the practice? Given how naturally she connects with people, she has chosen work which allows her to utilise this skill to the fullest. Over the next couple of years she spent time connecting with and counselling students across law schools in India, helping them bridge the gap between college and corporate.

Have you ever met a lawyer who did a hardcore sales role? Sparky here, was at LinkedIn in a sales role managing relationships with corporate houses. Big learnings there include “you show customers value then you don't have to "pitch" they will come back to you” and “a team succeeds when we hold one another accountable, while doing all that we can for each other to set everyone up for success”.

She is a passionate cook- take one bite of the home-made potato wedges and you will know what we mean 😁

Tanisha enjoys regaling her friends and family with anecdotes and jokes, over unlimited cups of coffee.

She is fun; she is fearless and very determined. Did you know she litigated with a renowned media law firm for a year before taking the plunge and joining the practice development side of work? Since she had interned with some of the largest law firms for long stints in the corporate law practice, the process of eliminating what she didn’t want to do was easy.

As the doubt of continuing in the practice of law surrounded her, she took time off and went for a Vipassana course to truly connect with her inner self. She moved to practice development at AZB & Partners right after and set out on a journey to explore the unknown. Handling work relationships, speaking her mind and tackling tricky situations have been some of her biggest learnings.

She is a disciplined yoga practitioner, and that time is sacred to her daily routine. She is an expressive dancer and runs a handle called @innerlifeaddict on Instagram.
