“Over the past several months, I have been immersed in watercolor, exploring a medium that feels perfectly suited to life on the move. After spending years, engaging with the structure and geometry of modern architecture, watercolor has offered me a different kind of freedom – fluid, spontaneous, and wonderfully unpredictable. I have painted rooftops and street scenes in New York, a canal in Amsterdam and moments in London, Palm Springs, and Paris.”
-BURGESS

15 framed mini watercolors will be on exhibit in the Artbox gallery at the Artspace, along with Burgess’s signature architectural fine-art prints, original abstract, acrylics, and his hand cut, painted paper collages.

Come and experience a side of Andy’s work
that you have never seen before. Not to be missed!

初めての横浜みなとみらいプチ旅

今回横浜に行った理由は
Sony World photography Awards @worldphotoorg

On-site at Intersect Aspen, two presentations from Los Angeles–based @Fabrik_Projects brought together artists working across photography, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.

The presentations created distinct but complementary encounters throughout the fair, from Jessie Chaney’s atmospheric photography and Glen Wexler’s new color series to works by Zoe Wiseman, Sonia Payes, Glen Wexler, Robert Bell, Kate Joiner, Brayden Bugazzi, Kathy Corday, Jen Meyer, and Steve Morrell.

There’s still time to make your collection part of something bigger ⛰️

Art for ACF, Intersect Aspen’s initiative with @AspenCommunityFoundation, continues online through August 31. Participating galleries have designated select works, with 15 percent of net proceeds supporting ACF’s work strengthening communities across the Roaring Fork and Colorado River valleys.

Among the works still available: Glen Wexler’s “Ascension” with Fabrik Projects, Paul Nicklen’s “Face to Face” with Hilton Contemporary, and Oksana Mas’s “Immersion 3” with SEA Contemporary Art.

Explore the full selection and collect with purpose. Link in bio.

Chuck and I had a fantastic day with our dearest friends, Tammy and Glen Wexler, at LACMA’s new David Geffen Galleries! @lacma @davidgeffen

“Eclectic” would be an understatement! You feel like you are in a spinning Time Machine, jumping from era to era, genre to genre! Something for everybody! lol 😆 You could spend a whole day there.

Then we went to the local favorite - an old-school Chinese place, Genghis Cohen @genghiscohenla, where we ran into Lee Sklar. It was great to see and hug him. ❤️

Just back from an amazing day with my Mari-Chan and my dearest of dear friends, Glen and Tammy Wexler! (Check out glenwexlerstudio.com)

We spent the day taking in the new David Geffen galleries at LACMA — inside, 45 curators mixed diverse objects with no prescribed path. There were centuries of European paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, and photography, with works ranging from the Renaissance through masters like Monet, Manet, Picasso, Degas, and Van Gogh.

From there, we headed to the Fairfax District for what was seriously the best Chinese meal I’ve had in years at the newly relocated Genghis Cohen — an L.A. institution that’s been serving its New York-style Chinese food since 1983. (Now across the street from Canters)

And to top it all off, we ran into bass legend Lee Sklar!

For those who know Lee… no middle fingers were shared. 😂🖕🏻

Great art, great food, great friends and a surprise bass encounter — pretty damn perfect day in L.A. Especially sharing it all with people you love that also appreciate fine art.

Another incredible year at @intersectartanddesign. 🏔️

Intersect Aspen Art + Design wrapped up its 2026 fair at the Aspen Ice Garden, bringing together galleries and artists from around the world for what the fair called its most successful edition yet. Highlights included experiencing extraordinary work up close, unique programming like Aura Photography, and time well spent with clients in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable.

Aspen marks the close of Intersect Art + Design’s 2026 season, and we’re already looking ahead. See you in Palm Springs. 🏜️
