Take a look at the TBS team’s journey with SoilVera, from Lampung to New York. 🌍

SoilVera brought together Johannes Sahala (Corporate Finance), Willy Manik (Public Affairs & Corporate Communications), Erlang Alparizi (Business Development), Faesa Syahputri (Corporate Secretary), and Rafael Pahlevi (Corporate Strategy) from across TBS.

As one of the Outstanding SDG Innovators 2026 representing Indonesia, the team took SoilVera to New York for a week of conversations, connections, and new perspectives on sustainability.

What started as a challenge around our operations became an opportunity to learn beyond our own context and bring those perspectives back to TBS.

Thank you to the United Nations Global Compact, @globalcompact.id, @indonesiainnewyork, and everyone who made these conversations possible.

Hai Marteamz,

Building Indonesia’s Future Talent for a Sustainable Future

The world is changing fast—and so is the world of work.

From green energy and sustainable finance to climate technology and social innovation, new opportunities are emerging for the next generation of talent.

So, how can Indonesian young people prepare, connect, and take part in this transformation?

That was the conversation at “Global Talent for Sustainable Development: Unlocking SDG Careers, Green Jobs, and Leadership Pathways for Indonesia Emas 2045.”

Bringing together Indonesian students, diaspora, business leaders, sustainability practitioners, innovators, and policymakers, the event was a great space to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore new pathways for careers and leadership in the sustainable development space.

Because building Indonesia Emas 2045 is not only about where Indonesia is going—but also about the people and talents who will help get us there. 🇮🇩

This interactive dialogue is a collaboration between UN Global Compact Network Indonesia (IGCN), Columbia Indonesian Society (CIS), and the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in New York (KJRI New York).

We attended and conducted a sharing session at the “Global Talent for Sustainable Development” event, organized by the @globalcompactid in collaboration with Columbia University, held on September 21, 2026, at the Consulate General of Republic Indonesia in New York. There were many in-depth discussions regarding sustainable programs that could be implemented, particularly in Indonesia. It was a pleasure meeting members of the local diaspora community. This also marked our first time presenting an SDG innovation—as part of the SDGs Innovator program—in New York. So Cheers Up !!!

Hello, Manusia Trainee! 👋🏻🌎🇺🇳

Welcome to Day 2 at the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2026.

Today’s sessions explored the ROI of SDG integration and how sustainability can create measurable business value when it is embedded across functions and connected to real outcomes.

Another highlight was hearing from SDG Young Innovators from Kenya, China, the UK, and Ghana. Different countries, different challenges, and different approaches but one shared mindset: innovation begins when we are willing to challenge the status quo.

As a fellow SDG Young Innovator, it was inspiring to see how solutions rooted in local challenges can create impact that reaches far beyond their communities.

And we closed the day by celebrating global diversity through an energetic cultural performance from Mexico. 🇲🇽💃

Today’s lesson for every Manusia Trainee:

“Your impact is not determined by where you come from, but by how consistently you keep building, showing up, and living the Manusia Trainee mindset.”
