Cloudy fall north light in Studio 8 @globe_studios.

I think I like the suggestion of oil paint.

Sterling silver, hand-sawn and chased monstera and dandelion leaves, in the making for earrings and pendants! 🌿✨

These little pieces are a work in progress as I get ready for the Globe Studios Show & Sale! There’s lots happening behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to share what I’ve been making.

Come visit the studios, meet the artists, and discover the one-of-a-kind work we’ve been creating. It’s a wonderful opportunity to shop local and find something truly unique!

Can’t wait for the Globe Show! 🍂

Both joy and humility are key to what I hope to communicate with my work, with one informing the other. This small piece (16”x20”) is titled: Laetare, a Latin word for “Rejoice!” The experience of being humbled in the midst of the created order that enfolds us brings me joy. With all that is going on around us and afar, it remains my hope that those viewing my work recognize something of both. I look forward to welcoming folks to our home on the final weekend of the Elora Fergus Studio Tour (Oct 3/4) to see firsthand the uniqueness of Coloured Pencil on Birch Panel fine art.

I wouldn’t qualify what I do as painting. Maybe oil smudging?

Hi Friends!

I know I haven't posted in ages.

While I am on a very much needed vacation currently, I have been a busy little bee at the studio prepping for the sale!

I will have ornaments, sweary stuff, and a variety of other fun pieces.

Come see me and all the other talented artists @thecornerstudiokw on Nov 20 & 21.

141 Whitney Pl, Kitchener, ON.

Can't wait to see you!

It is truly something special to be on a walk and to see one’s artwork visible from the street, displayed and glowing in a beautiful gallery space. Twilight Sentinel (62” wide by 36” ht.) is available as part of the Elora Fergus Studio Tour Exhibition on now until Oct 4 at the Elora Centre for the Arts. Drop in to see samples of all 29 artists on the tour this year. The Studio Tour begins this coming weekend, September 26-27 and again on Oct 3-4, from 10AM to 5PM each day. Looking forward to welcoming folks at studio #12 - 504 South River Road between Elora and Fergus - to see firsthand the uniqueness of Coloured Pencil on Birch Panel fine art. @elorafergusstudiotour

Rembrandt @globe_studios inside studio 8.

I rarely turn the lights on. Today, I had to.

It got dark really quickly because of the storm.

I thought for a second this tree was coming down. It didn’t.

I love thunderstorms and heavy rain.

They make for great skies.

My new studio at @globe_studios used to be the boiler room. I couldn’t help celebrating the history of the space with a drawing.
