POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Still so happy about being part of the @on @rollingstoneafrica @voicesinmoti0n storytelling workshop.
A week spent with artists I admire, getting to learn how to tell our own African sports stories!

As a writer, I am constantly eager to learn how to grow my skills in different fields.
And excited to see the work of other creators in different disciplines like visual art, dance, song and more!

I wish I could restart that week again🥹 we were well taught, well fed, well kept✨

To many more, and to telling the stories of our heroes, our way!🌍🇰🇪

But, let us tell you more 😎

We have a big announcement!!

We are proud to announce that We Are Nubia will be sitting down with us for a special ‘artist listening session’

The incredible Kenyan Duo will be playing some of their favourite songs and breaking down live how they were made.

This year, for our 2nd edition of ThisChord in Kenya, we’re diving deep into R&B + Neo-Soul, curating a playlist of some of your favourite artists, with sounds on the night provided by DJ Jone.

We are returning to Nairobi, Kenya for another year with an experience that is bigger and better 🫶🏾

This year, we’re diving deep into R&B + Neo-Soul, curating a playlist of some of your favourite artists from Usher to Beyoncé, Leon Thomas and Sasha Keable, plus a special guest artist and most importantly yearning. Lots of yearning.

This edition is a collaboration with Voice & Vision, a vocal masterclass experience. Warming the crowd with games such as ‘Guess the Song’, to it’s ‘One Room, Three Parts’ and things might get competitive with our Riff-Off. Singer or not, you are welcome to come and enjoy, with sounds on the night provided by DJ Joné.
