Guess who made a return visit to the phone box book exchange? 🙋🏼‍♀️ I thought it might be nice to start depositing some of the indie books I’ve recently read, so with the author’s permission, today’s deposit was ‘Tales and Treasures from Glowfen’ which will be a magical find for a child visiting this little library (there’s a distinct lack of children’s books there) @glowfenguardians My novel is still there. Don’t these people know what they’re missing?!? 😂 First there was the delight of seeing it, and then the scowl at the realisation that it hasn’t been immediately snapped up 🤣 #redphonebox #bookexchange #littlefreelibrary #littlefreelibraryuk #indieauthorsofinstagram

Some books feel less like a story and more like a little place to rest. Tales & Treasures from Glowfen by @glowfenguardians is one of those gentle, magical children’s books that invites readers into a woodland world full of comforting companions, hidden treasures, quiet wonder, and small interactive discoveries. What I really loved is that Glowfen feels soft and safe, like the kind of imaginary place a child could return to when the real world feels a bit too busy. It’s inspired by nature, childhood wonder, imagination, and the need for gentler spaces — something many children, and probably many grown-ups too, could use more of. This is a lovely pick for kids who enjoy magical worlds, cozy woodland details, and books that leave room for imagination long after the last page. Tales & Treasures from Glowfen releases May 31.
