September is PMOS Awareness Month! PMOS is Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome, formerly known as PCOS or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.

This month, we’re bringing attention to PCOS/PMOS, its impact on physical and mental well-being, and the importance of having accessible resources and supportive communities. Swipe to learn a few facts, find helpful resources, and discover creators using their platforms to share their experiences and raise awareness. Knowledge, support, and open conversations matter.

Awareness also means amplifying the voices of people sharing their experiences, knowledge, and resources. We’re highlighting a few creators using their platforms to talk about PCOS/PMOS, wellness, reproductive health, body confidence, and the realities that often go unseen.

[ID: 1. A mint green graphic reads “September is… PMOS Awareness Month” with a teal awareness ribbon. The graphic explains that PMOS stands for Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome, formerly known as PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). A “Did you know these facts?” section states that 1 in 5 people with ovaries have PMOS (PCOS), there is currently no cure but treatment can help long term, and PMOS can impact mental health. Illustrations show a group of people, two people speaking with a healthcare provider, and a brain held by two hands. A torn-paper section at the bottom lists resources: PCOSSupport.org, AskPMOS.org, and ShowYourLoveToday.com.
Slide 2: A mint green graphic reads “September is… PMOS Awareness Month” with a teal awareness ribbon and an illustration of two people holding hands. A banner reads “Creators you should follow!” Below are photos and descriptions of three creators: Tae (@glowwithtae), who shares her PCOS journey through wellness, lifestyle, and body-confidence content; Sarah (@sweethartsarah), who creates relatable content about PCOS symptoms, lifestyle, and everyday experiences; and Dr. Yaa Oheema (@dryaaoheema), who shares beauty, wellness, and women’s health content while bringing visibility to PCOS and encouraging conversations about reproductive health. ]

It’s crazy how time flies when you’re doing life with the person you love. It’s been 9 beautiful years that we’ve been married and I still get that feeling I got when I first seen you. Today we celebrate what God has ordained and what He has blessed. I love you beautiful. Happy Anniversary 💜

We prayed for this!!!

🌸 We have all met each other less than a month ago, and we’ve already made an impact in each other’s lives this far!

🌸Homegirls In Christ 💗 stems from from us being homegirl first and wanting to create a community of like-minded women who’ve also been searching for faith based friendship and a community of women who uplift
,encourage and support you, but also not judge you while you’re on your journey!

🌸 if you’re located in the 757 area Congratulations you have found your community!!

🌸 be sure to follow @homegirlsinchristva to stay connected, and in the loop of future events!! 🤍

I work hard to take care of my Queen and three princesses. It’s not easy at all, but it’s absolutely worth it. I would do anything that I possibly could to take care of my family and that’ll never change.
