After over a year working with healthcare domain in the USA I can share a few things I wish I knew when I started.

Guide and empathy. I’m working with sensitive data that people don’t share publicly or openly. Being empathetic to users and guiding them to make process smooth is a core to work in that domain.

Don’t forget the law. Be very aware of your communication because if you can’t give medical advice it must be clear. Always ask contend when you are using personal data. Don’t use dark patterns or you might got in trouble. And last but not least - HIPAA compliance. You need to keep that data private so be sure to have a good security systems.

Live a room for curiosity. Working with the health you always have a lot going on behind the scenes. That’s a hard challenge to give enough information and yet make a flow easy and smooth. The answer is to let users reach out to view more details through various info buttons and give ability to educate themselves through your website/app. It will keep a balance for those who want a plain result and those who want to know all the mechanics.

And advice I can give in any domain — keep educating yourself. Be hungry for knowledge, especially in your field. Follow the latest trends and big players.

That makes from good business/designer/developer a great one.

Heartwarming update! As many of you know, my father serves in the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the front lines. In the line of duty, his brigade often loses drones — those vigilant eyes safeguarding our soldiers. After the loss of yet another drone, we organized a charity event to secure a replacement, but unfortunately, we fell short of our fundraising goal.

When Launch Labs heard about our campaign, Natalie, Ben, Nick, and Corinne stepped up, generously donating the total amount needed for the cause. Thanks to their support, we have the opportunity to purchase not only a new drone but also a vital charging station for it. Heartfelt gratitude to Launch Labs for always standing with us and helping make a difference for our heroes 🙌🇺🇦
