These islands carved me from their own heart and blood. You gave me clarity and strength and art and everything I could’ve ever needed to be the woman I am today.

Your fire poured through me the way it’s poured through you for millions of years, forging and purifying the deepest cracks within me.

Exposed.

Unearthed a wild woman from the trenches dripping in fire and the life-giving blood of the womb.

“It is time to become someone new-
to die and be born again.
It is time to rise, Warrior.
Carry your sword with pride
Let fire burn in your eyes
You came to own your unique experiences
Shadow and light
Allow her to be
She is not here to please -
So stand Woman.
Get ready for your next big creation
You are ready to be a Mother.” 🔥 Pele

Symbiosis, not sacrifice 🙌🏼 so beautiful that what we do for ourselves is automatically gifted to our children in the MOST powerful way. I shared a few weeks ago I sometimes felt soooo overwhelmed I didn’t want to be a mom, and was shaming myself so much. Yet I would never shame Akash for feeling how he felt.

Moving through some of the deepest edges of shame I had freed me from the thoughts that kept me captive, and the thoughts that were breeding resentment - and now I don’t feel that way at all!!!! But also even if I did, it would still be okay 🥹 because I can’t give Akash the compassion, unconditional love, and grace that I can’t give myself because I won’t KNOW or understand it at all.

It’s better to be honest and messy, than dishonest and hardened… I love this deepening life of authenticity we are creating💧 for summer solstice I’m nurturing the intention of a strong, loving relationship to myself, that gets to overflow into everything else I do 🤍
