Grip it and rip it Tuesday! You need a good stretching routine if you want to gain speed. The combination of strength and flexibility are what will make your swing faster this winter. #golf #golfing #golfswing @palmetto_clothingco @golfsub70

10 years ago, I went broke and ended up sleeping on a couch.

The dream didn’t die. Life just got a lot harder.

There were setbacks, sacrifices, and moments when the future looked nothing like what I envisioned. But I kept going. I kept rebuilding. I kept showing up for the life I knew I wanted, even when I had nothing to prove it was possible.

I’m not where I ultimately want to be, but I’m a long way from where I started.

I know what it’s like to have nothing and still believe you can become something.

I’m not telling this story because I’ve made it. I’m telling it because I’m not finished.

10 years later, the check still hasn’t been cashed. ⛳️

Rethinking your golf ball this fall? Start with your putting.

Better alignment starts before the stroke.

ALWAYS APPRECIATE GETTING OUT THERE FOR A ROUND.

I am always thankful for the opportunity to get out and play some golf holes. I love the challenges and the mental health benefits of being outside and playing this game.

I can still get it around despite the lack of playing time and practice. But it’s always good to try keep my eye in so I can help others improve their game.

☑️Mental health benefits
☑️Golf is a game unlike any other
☑️Enjoy the challenge
☑️Get out and play
☑️Get your mates involved

DO YOU STRUGGLE WITH YOUR PUTTING? DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE THE YIPS…

I played my college and professional career with the yips. I tried everything from a belly putter (back when they were allowed) to a variety of different grip methods. Putted with my eyes closed, eyes up and even doing basic maths over a 3 footer 🤣.

Nothing helped because they were all crutches…. Band aids placed upon poor fundamentals, poor set up, poor technical understanding of how the putter flows, and emotional and subconscious avoidance.

Learn to work with your emotions and to use them, rather than bury them and ignore them. It’s easy to sink 5 footers on the practice green, but that’s not where we want to perform… we want to sink them on the closing stretch of an important round of golf.

From fear and the yips to putting with absolute freedom and confidence has really brought back my enjoyment and love for the game. And I would love nothing more than to help you achieve the same.

☑️Natural setup
☑️Flow
☑️Release stroke
☑️Putting with subconscious
☑️No more yips

Amazing day at Erin Hills yesterday! 🪣 📝 course. Two really tough holes (2 and 9, IYKYK) but still shot and 43/40 for an 83 and beat my dad. Rolled in a 35 footer for birdie on 10 and stuck one to 6 feet on 16.

I’m not trying to go pro. I’m just trying to suck less. 😂⛳️
Working on my game one swing at a time. Some days it clicks. Other days… not so much.
I’m sharing the good, the bad, and everything in between as I try to get better.
If you’re working on your game too, let’s get better together.

Back at Ballantre with another DoD, who needs a 3w when you’ve got a TAIII3D in the bag?!

One good shot. That’s all it takes.
You can struggle off the tee, miss greens, and hate half the clubs in your bag.
Then you hit one solid shot and suddenly forget how bad the rest of the round was.
That’s golf in a nutshell. And somehow we keep coming back for more.
