“Photography is just a much needed outlet that’s turned into more of a connection for me. Everything I do creatively always ties back to storytelling. We all have a story, we all have our own highs and lows going on but we always have a community that’s there to be a safe space for us when we need something as small as a hug. Starting GoodHumans allowed me to meet such incredible people in Charlotte who I admire and respect and get to know more on a human level outside of what we see on social media. It’s the most beautiful thing and I’m honored they trust me with listening and sharing that with the world. GoodHumans is a project where I highlight folks in the city who are making great impacts to our communities. Being great at what you do matters.

The most talented person doesn’t always get the job.

Sometimes the job goes to the person who communicates better, fits the team better, and makes the whole thing easier.

Talent matters, but fit closes deals.

Imposter syndrome will have you questioning yourself before you even give yourself a real chance.

In this clip, @andyjweber talks about how tough it was to stop worrying about what other people think and start focusing on what he actually enjoys doing.

That’s the game.

Because when you enjoy the work, enjoy the process, and stop obsessing over outside opinions, you open the door to possibilities you probably never saw coming.

Sometimes the next level isn’t about becoming somebody else.

2025 was yet another year I look back and can’t believe this is the life I get to live. More than what was accomplished, I look back and feel the most joy over who it was shared with.

Especially getting to have so many adventures with our one year old (!!) while surrounding her with the absolute best people.

I keep hearing how she won’t remember much from the first 3 years of her life, and while that’s probably true, countless memories were made this year where we will get to look back together one day and tell her the stories of all the amazing people in her life and things she got to experience.

It’s never just all happy pictures of course - this year was filled with as much self-doubt & struggle as any other. But because of those lows I’m reminded how important it is to celebrate the many highs. Life for each of us is never just one or the other, but it all serves to shape us into who we are and how we choose to show up in the world.

Whether it was reaching new goals & growth in comedy, podcasting, serving through the Laundry Project, traveling, public speaking, playing music, being honored in ways I don’t deserve, running my first 10k, being a dad, a husband, a friend, and so much more - every day I think about how grateful I am, and the power I have to make others feel seen and loved.

I think about the love I need, and the importance of taking the small, unseen steps each day to make sure I’m being the kind of person who so freely gives those gifts of love, hope, dignity, and empowerment to all I meet.

And while I often fail at that, I’m beyond grateful for the many moments I’m able to put my own fears and insecurities aside to just be fully present. These photos are a representation of that to me - the pure joy I felt so often this year and just getting to be in the room with so many inspiring and wonderful people.

I hope 2026 brings more of the same, because I need community and family, and because the one thing I want to keep growing in above all else is making everyone I meet feel like they’re part of this amazing family of people I get to have in my life far and wide. May 2026 bring all these and more for you. Happy New Year!! 🥳🧡

Don’t let perfection keep you stuck at the starting line.

I’d rather move 10 steps forward and be 2 steps off target than still standing still, planning for perfect.

When you’re just starting out, you actually have an advantage:

No audience.
No expectations.
Room to experiment.
Freedom to fail.

Way too many people never start because they’re waiting to have EVERYTHING figured out.

Meanwhile, the person focused on progress is already learning, adjusting, and pulling ahead.

Imposter Syndrome.

That feeling that you’re not qualified enough, experienced enough, or “ready” to be where you are.

Spoiler: everyone feels it — even the people who look like they’ve got it all figured out.

The truth is, Imposter Syndrome is a normal part of growth.

If you’re feeling it, it probably means you’re leveling up.

The key isn’t to avoid it — it’s to learn how to move through it.

Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep building.

A Breathwork with Matt x Lenny Boy Experience

Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and a friend.

The weather looks great but please dress appropriately as this session will be OUTSIDE ON THE PATIO.

Matt will lead a warm up, introducing different breath techniques, and then we will dive into about 20 minutes of continuous breath set to music.

The session will end with a mediation and sound healing.

This session is for you if you have ever been curious about how you can harness the power of your own breath to reset, relieve stress, and promote balance in your body and mind.
