Sylvan Esso joined us for a Studio Milwaukee Session before their performance at the Riverside Theater tonight, where they’ll be playing songs form their new album, “Ow ∞.”

Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn (a Milwaukee native!) played some Sylvan Esso hits new and old, and spoke to 88Nine’s Dori Zori about their favorite spots in town, expanding their duo to a six-piece live band, and Sanborn’s affinity for “old cheap” equipment.

Listen to the full Studio Milwaukee Session at RadioMilwaukee.org.

Studio Milwaukee Sessions are sponsored by Ellenbecker Investment Group.

Sometimes you go to a restaurant and you are totally surprised by a dish. That happens last night @goodkindbayview. Was I expecting a Viet-Cajun shrimp boil on the menu? Nope. But damn I saw it I knew we were getting it. And I am so glad we did. Makes me wonder why there isn’t a seafood shack here in town to serve boils like this. Thank you team for this incredible meal last night. Another fine evening at the bar with impeccable service from Ryan and the team. Enjoy your time off and we will see you when you are back in service. More seafood boils!
