We cannot wait until tents collapse on families, until children are injured, or until every belonging a family owns is soaked through by rain before we act.

Winter is here in Gaza, and many of the worn-out tents sheltering displaced families will not survive the first strong storm.

On October 15, The Sameer Project replaced three deteriorating tents at our Refaat Alareer Camp and reinforced their protection by reinstalling tarpaulins. The cost was just $429 for all three families, after 11% commission was included.

Winterization is about prevention, not waiting for disaster. These families have already lost their homes. They should not have to lose their temporary shelters, too.

Help us replace vulnerable tents all over Gaza, makeshift shelters, before the storms arrive. Donate to our General Fund for tent purchases.
