Sometimes the colour palette 🎨 instore just creates a vibe like this one….. limoncello + palm green (or maybe I’m wishing it was summer again?!)

There’s been ALOT of talk lately about the impact all these lockdowns are having on our kids: mentally, physically, educationally + socially.

They’re not wrong… I can see it in the kids I see around me including our beautiful 7.5 yr old, Lola. She is missing the interaction so much.

Some of the things we’ve been doing to help her (when we are able too) are listed below:
1. Start the day with a dance 💃🏻 She puts on some of her fave songs + we all have a dance in the morning before we go for a walk!
2. Going for a walk + getting some fresh air.
3. Listening to some calm kids meditations.
4. Grateful 3: we each say 3 things we’re grateful for at the dinner table each night as a reminder to think of the little joys that happen each day!
5. Lola loves crystals; so I play with + remind her of the healing ❤️‍🩹 qualities of each crystal.
6. Emotion Check: we check in and ask each other how we’re going + what we’re feeling.
7. Sometimes we make up magical potions to help do some diy activities that also help affirm our intention: calm, brave etc
8. Lola wears her Rainbow Magic bracelet for extra protection + magical powers!
9. She requests + helps make/ bake a special treat each week!

What do you do to help you kid cope?

All these goodies are available online…

MINDFUL MAMA GIFTS:

Are you the kind of person that gifts the Mama & the baby?! If so, BLESS YOUR COTTON SOCKS!

Pregnancy 🤰🏻 (in fact getting preggers) Birth & the Newborn phase are EPIC jobs for Mamas. (A privledge + honour as well but a big job!)

My cousin kindly gave ME a nurturing gift when I had Lola and I was really thrilled to be remembered amongst the New Baby Crush!

As a community we realise more and more that Mama’s need support, nurturing + kindness when they’re pregnant + when they give birth.

Self care treats, treats, food... it’s all welcome!

So with this in mind, we have collated some MINDFUL MAMA gifts! Gifts for those trying to get pregnant, gifts for pregnancy, gifts for new Mama’s.

Books, Candles for chill time, Bath Salts, Oils + Mists for supporting the nurturing, crystal packs... you name it!

I particularly like the First Forty Days book (I got this when I was pregnant with Luna) and loved it! And wish the Zen Mama book was around before I had Lola 6.5 years ago to find like minded parenting tips!

So if you are thinking of becoming a Parent, are preggers or just had a baby & feeding at 3am and doing a spot of online shopping (we’ve all been there!) you might like to check this out!

Link to shop this edit in bio.

It is so important to be both a minimalist 𝐀𝐍𝐃 a crazy colour person! 💫 I mean who doesn’t love a bit of holographic content? 🔥⁣
⁣
I 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 shooting gorgeously styled and minimal content but I also really enjoy when a client approaches me with a brief that involves experimenting with 🌟 and 🌈⁣
⁣
I spend a lot of time working with the client, discussing exactly what they envision and I make sure that I get it right every time! ⁣
⁣
This one was 𝐒𝐎 fun with @goodvibes.gang 💜 Kate at @thesupercool has just launched her side hustle and it is super fun, super bright and inclusive! The perfect way for people to access and learn about crystals- all packaged up into the coolest kits! ⁣
