I sat in the October sunshine outside @_flourwatersalt and perused the latest issue of @csnpress which features both ADVENTURE GUY and a great ad for the IGNATZ nominated @goof_comic too! Awesome!

Published by @floatingworldcomics the @goof_comic bumper special is going to print this week. It’s PACKED FULL of gloriously goofy cartoonists, and is the best funny book you could pick up in my honest opinion.
Here’s the retailer order code if you need it!…

Today is DOLLY PARTON DAY don’tcha know, 9/25🌟
To celebrate all the joy Dolly brought to young readers with her wonderful @imaginationlibrary @imaginationlibraryuk (A scheme that gives free books to children) I headed over to @macclesfieldlibrary to donate FREE copies of @goof_comic for their young visitors this weekend!

So if you’re in Macclesfield tomorrow pop in, support the library and of course, think of Dolly! x

Day two, running up Church Street, Macclesfield. As I say in the video, a notorious hill for all the comics creators that come to @maccpowcomicartfestival each year. Let’s find out how easy it is to run up this rascal!

For the new @floatingworldcomics published bumper @goof_comic I’m creating a two page intro comic that starts the magazine off. It’s fun to take the GOOF-GUY from the cover and do some more things with him!

It’s out in December. Retailers use the pre-order code#

Sadly @goof_comic didn’t win the IGNATZ award at @spxcomics this weekend BUT we got nominated and I thank each and every cartoonist inside the pages of issue 2 (the issue nominated) and all the issues so far for their amazing comics!! What with this, and the upcoming bumper edition from @floatingworldcomics it all helps to get GOOF global! See you in the funny pages! Let’s have a lemonade and stay cool x

We are delighted to announce that once again @macclesfieldtc have supported @maccpowcomicartfestival with a grant for 2027, our 12th MACC-POW here in Macclesfield.

We have been working with the council since 2019, and each year we have endeavoured to put on the best event possible. Their support has grown over the years, giving us the opportunity to become more ambitious with both scale of the event and how we support more creators and local businesses around the town.

Next year we’re excited to see how the festival will take shape, with fresh ideas, big plans and even a few subtle changes, and we can’t wait to invite the comics community and fans along for the ride!

See you in June, 2027! Marc, Jane & the team 💛

This weekend, we’re incredibly proud to celebrate FiVE amazing years since we opened our studio in Macclesfield.

@roomforcomics has always been a family business, and since 2021, it’s been so special to welcome so many other families along for the wild ride. What started as a dream has grown into a wonderful community, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who has been part of it. We’ve worked hard, poured our hearts into it, and put so much love into creating this space in Macclesfield, and we truly hope it continues for many, many years to come. Five years. So many memories. So much to be thankful for.

Here’s to @roomforcomics, and to whatever comes next! Thank you for being a friend x

Three @goof_comic GOOFS in @goshcomics left to right @jimsmithstuff @tormalore and moi!

We met at @thecartoonmuseum then took a stroll to the BAGEL spot where we bagelled HARD!! Hung out in SOHO park talking about life, coffee, comics and I even had a ride on Jim’s bike! What a treat.

Then onto GOSH for the grand finale! Always a total blast catching up with these guys!! xxx
