Old-school x new-school of the ad game. ✊🏽 Dope moment to be featured with my mentor and ad legend Jimmy Smith in @shots_creative Icons and Innovators profile series, written by @mrmadge for its recent @cannes_lions edition. This one is full-circle for me. Growing up in Portland, Jimmy’s iconic campaigns like Nike Freestyle and Book of Dimes with LeBron were some of the pieces that first inspired me to want to be a creative in advertising. Getting to share the spotlight with him now means everything. S/o to everyone featured in this year’s Icons and Innovators series from around the world. Honored to be featured alongside them. Let’s keep building. #Fortheculture #iconsandinnovators #Advertising #Representationmatters #Creativeindustry Full story linked in bio

Somebody really is a bowling shoe giver-outer. And somebody really did write the campaign that celebrated him. Bob Winter, Chief Creative Officer at Supergood, joins Chris to tell the story behind Bud Light’s “Real Men of Genius,” the most awarded radio campaign in advertising history, and what came next: leading an AI native creative agency where the tools are new but humans still run the show. A rejected tape on the 405. A rename after 9/11. Two hundred produced spots. This one’s a masterclass in refusing to let a good idea die. Episode 70 is live now. 🌟 🎉 What. A. Day! 🎉 🌟
The Laundry Loft Grand Opening was everything we dreamed of and then some! The community showed up BIG. It’s been such a pleasure getting to know everybody, and we couldn’t feel more welcome. Thanks to everyone for attending. We had @amynemusic spinning good vibes, churros from @lanewyorkina , a cake shaped like a washer (thank you @andycakesnyc 💕), and a laundromat full of balloons courtesy of @balloonkings 🎈! Our most famous guest? @officialbluey ! 🩵 A huge hit with the kids and adults, too! Bluey has the moves! Thank you, @fabiolas_kids Fabiola Kids NYC, for making that magic happen! Endless gratitude to our dream team designers Erin & Jon Carpenter @erinv_carpenter - none of this would exist without your vision and heart. 🙌 Big love to our amazing staff - Ava, Evelyn, John, Andrea, and Melanie and to Rina, Zuwei, and the @gosupergood crew for bringing this day to life. 💫 And shoutout to @laundrysauce and @laundrylabs.shop for the awesome raffle goodies! 🧺✨ Oh, and did we mention? @nbcnewsnow stopped by (thanks, Nicolle and Marquise!) - We can’t wait to share the feature soon! 💙 #LaundryLoft #GrandOpening #Williamsburg #CommunityLove #SupportLocal #Supergood #LaundrySauce #LaundryLab #NeighborhoodVibes #GrandOpeningDay

What a first day! 🧺✨ From toasts with friends to surprise visits (and even a signed sock 😂-instant icon), plus a special appearance by @mabelthepotatoe 🥔, Laundry Loft officially opened its doors. Meeting our first customer was a highlight, but the very best part was being welcomed so warmly by the Williamsburg community. 💛 Endless thanks to Erin and Jon for their vision, Cents for their last-minute save setting up our store systems, Supergood for their incredible creativity and patience, and to our staff for their eagerness and excitement. We couldn’t have done it without you. 🙌 Here’s to fresh starts, new neighbors, and many more spins together. 🥂. #laundromat #williamsburg #community #smallbusiness
