Happy adoption day to this boy! 🐕🦴💙
11 years ago I was looking for another pittie as a friend for Stella but then saw this beautiful little Dutch shepherd mix that was brought in as a stray and I felt like I just HAD to go see him. He was small and pathetic, curled up and and whining because he tried to dominate the big pittie he was sharing a kennel with and that dog growled at him. 🙈 Lol! I quickly put in an application and when no one came to claim him, “Enzo” (now Barley!) became mine. He loved his sweet and goofy sister Stella through all her years and somehow we made it through his wild puppy stage! 🤪 Through it all he’s been the most loyal and intuitive soul and he helped get me through some hard times. Even though his muzzle is turning lighter and he might be a little more stiff some days, he’s got SO much spunk and most days has more energy than his much younger sister, Maya! 😂 He lives for his walks and he will NOT hesitate to vocally let you know if you are taking too long to eat and haven’t given him a bite of it! He has two Moms that love him to pieces and a Mimi who is happy he’s a respectful bed companion when she comes over to watch him! 🤣 Sometimes you end up finding things in life that were totally different than what you went in search of and it turns out to be the best thing that could’ve happened. We love you, our dingo/coyote boy! I couldn’t be happier your wild self ended up with us!🐾💙

HYROX TRIPLE THREAT WEEKEND

What started as a challenge turned into a weekend I’ll never forget. The adrenaline, the laughs, the teamwork, the exhaustion—and that feeling of crossing the finish line. HYROX reminded me once again that we are capable of so much more when we’re willing to push past what feels comfortable.

Here’s to chasing hard things, and surrounding yourself with people who make you better!

First time ever competing in the HYROX relay in DC and this amazing team of women gave it their all and somehow we took 2nd place out of 90 teams with a finish time of 1:09:10! So grateful to have such supportive and hardworking friends and to be able to compete with my love, and it meant so much to participate in this event together! 🥹 I think this put a fire in all of us to just keep going and see what we can do next time! Thanks so much to everyone who was able to be there to support us and capture all this unforgettable footage! Ladies, we DID the thing!!!!🔥👊🏼💪🏼🧡

As HYROX DC comes to a close, my heart is incredibly full!💛🖤💛🖤

Thank you to everyone who supported me, donated to mental health, encouraged me, and reminded me that I am strong and capable. I’m so grateful for my health, the privilege of moving my body, and the incredible friends, family, and coworkers who continue to push me toward new levels.

A special shoutout to Crystal, Stacey, and Katie for letting me be part of your relay team!! Racing beside you was unforgettable. Y’all are absolute BEASTS, and I’m so grateful to have friends like you in my corner🥹💪

HYROX isn’t just a workout—it’s a community, a support system, and a whole damn vibe. This weekend reminded me that preparation matters, mindset is everything, and growth requires embracing the suck.

I’m not the best runner, but I keep running. I suck at burpees, but I keep doing burpees. Growth happens when we stop avoiding our weaknesses and start working through them.

The biggest lesson? Just. Keep. Going.

No matter how slowly you move, don’t stop. Meet yourself where you are, love yourself through the journey, and keep pushing—because there’s an entirely new version of you waiting on the other side of uncomfortable.

Good luck to everyone competing tomorrow! Leave it all in the arena—I can’t wait to cheer you on. 💪🔥
