My first large sculpture of a Yokai for deco prop at our next Night of the Yokai anime dance party Oct 24th!
.
I started with cardboard for the framing and built up the shape with crumpled paper and painters tape. Next came 3 layers of paper mache and a final layer of plaster gauze strips before painting. The teeth were sculpted EVA foam and the hands were a soft packing foam with sculpted foam clay on top. Really happy with how this came out! @asylumdrax will be adding El wire to the eye sockets soon!

Are you ready to get Isekai’d this Valentines Day? Get ready to dance the night away at Bar XIII with themed drink specials, a costume contest, and vendors.

You can expect anime, Kpop / Jpop, VGM, J Rock and a couple of surprises for this one. I’ll be bringing my valentine, DJ Plynk, to join me on the decks along with Dj Gabriel Drax and Dj Xoxotique.

Tickets are linked in my bio. I can’t wait to party with you all.
